Oasis

As a solo traveller, I cannot praise the Oasis highly enough, as to how welcomed and safe I felt. From the moment arrived, to day I left nothing was too much trouble. My bungalow had everything you could wish for - kitchen area with all the essentials, twin beds and a fabulous sized bathroom with a separate toilet and shower cubicle area. The room was cleaned daily without fail, with regular changes of bed line and towels. The bed was extremely comfortable and I had the best nights sleep. Outside there was a small terrace with table and chairs . However these were not required, as I preferred to sit in the beautifully maintained grounds. Fantastic pool area and bar - great to spend a lazy or have a sneaky drink at the start/end of the night. No fighting to get a sunlounger, as they are plentiful, so no need to set your alarm to get a bed. Great also to cool off after a day at the beach or if you have been out on an adventure. As an avid reader, I love the library with a book to suit everyone's taste. In my opinion, the Oasis is in the perfect location - not in the centre of town but just a short stroll until you hit the waterfront. Lots of different short cuts back to base and all very safe - not once did I feel threatened or unsafe wandering back on an evening. Situated between two fabulous supermarkets, you are spoilt for choice and there even a shopping trolley or two to borrow, so you can stock up on all your essentials. I cannot fault my stay, the Oasis family are always on hand to help - with Mike and Eleni at the forefront. Nothing is too much trouble, they are the perfect hosts, very knowledgeable and you know you are in safe hands. I cannot recommend enough, if you want traditional Greek accommodation and hospitality. I will definitely be back and already booked for June 2025

Just got back with my sister today from this paradise Mike and his family and staff are the most wonderful friendly and helpful people. Loved the ground floor 2 bedroom apartment. The words Mike used when he gave a very informative introduction to his place when you stay here you are " part of his family" thankyou we will be back next year.

Had a fabulous week in August. First trip to Skiathos and definitely felt we chose well with the accommodation. Lovely friendly staff. Loved our welcome drink and chat with Michael, so nice that he gave us a contact number should we have any problems whilst out and about. Great position for tavernas, harbour and town. Most of all loved the real greek feel of Oasis. Beautiful garden and lovely extra little touches. Got home and rebooked for next year, two weeks this time. Can't wait to return.
