L’hotel, recentemente ristrutturato, si trova un una posizione eccellente per visitare Skiathos e godere della giusta tranquillità senza dover rinunciare alla comodità dell’essere in centro città. Il personale è attento e disponibile. I servizi sono ottimi (piscina, bar, colazione). Le stanze sono spaziose e curate seppur con qualche piccolissimo neo. Fantastica la vista dalla terrazza in cui si fa colazione. Non potrei non consigliare questo hotel!

The Alkyon Hotel is ideally situated for touring around Skiathos. The hotel faces the harbor and deserves to be a 5-star hotel due to the location alone. Our spacious en-suite room had a balcony overlooking the gardens with a comfortable bed and included all the usual facilities. The room was cleaned every day with a change of towels provided. All the staff are fantastic, friendly and eager to help, providing useful information for boat trips, car hire and general sightseeing. Anna in particular, directed us to places of interest around the Old Town and further afield in Skiathos, also recommending Koukounaries beach as being the best to visit. The food at the hotel was delicious, with a vast selection of traditional Greek food available and a wonderful breakfast display of hot and cold food to satisfy everyone. We were booked in on a half-board basis and the evening meal choices did not disappoint with an excellent set 3 course menu or al-a-carte menu. The waiters were courteous and polite, especially Dimitris who always had a warm welcome to everyone. There are plenty of places to eat with brilliant Tavernas within short walking distance of the hotel. There is a small pool with limited sun beds, but if sunbathing and relaxing is a major choice, then there are plenty of beaches in perfect locations that will also satisfy. Travelling around Skiathos is so easy, as there is an excellent bus service that costs 3 euros and will take you all along the coast. The main bus terminus is a short walk to the square, opposite the harbor. The hotel also provides a free minibus service to selected beaches. There are also many car and scooter hire companies. Our 2 week stay at the Alkyon Hotel was perfect in every way and we will definitely stay here again. We have no hesitation in saying this hotel is highly recommended.

Alkyon Hotel is a perfect position in town . Lovely friendly staff , made very welcome, helpful with guidance travelling about on the island , boat trips . Roof top restaurant for breakfast was amazing , beautiful choices of breakfast . Rooms lovely , bed comfy , nice balcony ! If you plan a pool day , the pool is small, not so many sun beds , have to get up earlier, nice area though with the tables & chairs for lunch !

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We stayed at the Alkyon Hotel as a family of five and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect—right by the harbour with stunning views, especially during the delicious, high-quality breakfast each morning. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always happy to share local knowledge and make our stay more enjoyable. The hotel itself is beautiful and welcoming. We would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!
