Mövenpick Resort Agios Nikolaos Sivota (Opening April 2025)

We arrived on the 22nd September early afternoon to be greeted by this wondrous reception area with the most amazing views. As we were a little earlier our room was not ready so we went down to the restaurant area and had a lovely lunch. Once our room was ready we were transported via the hotel buggy along with our cases. Once in the room, words could not describe how incredible it was. Added to the spacious and luxurious room was the private pool area with pergola and enough room to host a pool party. Prior to our arrival, I had been in hospital and it was touch and go whether we would make this holiday. Fortunately we did and my goodness I could not have found a better venue to recuperate. We went half board and I would say the breakfast selections were amazing catering for all diets, specifically mine at the time. The evening meal offered a fair selection with a daily dish of the day. If there was any criticism I would say the portions are excessive leaving a guilt feeling when unable to finish the dish. The waiting staff are exceptional, polite, friendly and attentive and having travelled and stayed at many hotels I would rate them as some of the finest. Housekeeping were excellent ensuring we had fresh towels when requested and ensuring our room was as fresh as when we arrived. Prior to our arrival I communicated with Katherine with various request and none were any issue for her to sort. A very small negative was one of the female receptionists with the stud by her mouth, though at times she was helpful it was not without an attitude, almost resentful of making requests. Unsure if this was due to nearing the end of the season and it was becoming a task, but I would suggest a bit of training on hospitality etiquette would be useful. This by no means was a cheap holiday and as a couple who works hard for every penny given the stressful jobs that we have, spending the amount that we did (which I would say was worth every penny) would have been near perfect had it not been for her manner on the last day of the holiday. That aside, I would wholeheartedly recommend this resort as a must stay experience. Thank you to all for making it a wonderful experience for me to recover.

Excellent property location, amazing infrastructure, breathtaking views, great proximity to explore the surroundings, incredibly attentive staff, excellent property services. I highly recommend Domotel Agios Nikolaos for anyone looking to experience luxury in stunning Syvota in Thesprotia/Epirus - Greece, an unforgettable dream destination. We look forward to our next visit!

We love Greece and usually take a week on one of the many islands but tried the mainland this time and wow, we were extremely impressed. Greek star ratings we accept and take with a pinch of salt but this hotel, room and facilities truly are 5 star. Private beach, decking and other sunbathing options across the beach with 2 pools, family and adult, perfect. Breakfast was tip-top, plenty of choice and freshly made omelettes. ONLY negative is that it’s steep ! You have great views but the town/harbour for all the lovely restaurants is a steep trek. We walked down once and in the heat was too much but a €5 taxi sorted that - we were used to paying €10-15 a day for sunbeds/umbrella etc so as these are free it was no problem! Highly recommended- and we are fussy !
