Poseidon Hotel Sea Resort

The hotel is really clean, the staff is great, and the food variety is at a satisfactory level. A good place for a quiet vacation, for a family with kids. The only drawback is the beach. If you want to swim, then you need to be prepared to walk some 20 meters before you get to reasonably deep water. When you get into the water, you are walking on a rock formation. It is 30-40 cm deep and around 20 meters into the sea. It is covered with algae and is slippery. After that, it is deep, and that is where you can swim.

In July 2025, I went together with my family and 31 friends—the group was large and the tastes and preferences were diverse. Despite that, everything was well-organized, and the team at Poseidon managed to satisfy nearly all of us. The room was impeccable and very clean, the food was tasty and varied, and the drinks were good—though I think they could extend the serving schedule a bit. We enjoyed evening shows, the basketball court kept the older kids busy, and the pool was clean. The beach is close by and there are enough sunbeds; the water is very clean and warm. The beach bar should have a longer schedule. All in all, it’s a location I confidently recommend!

Excellent resort with outstanding staff; Dimitra is truly exceptional. I thoroughly enjoyed the evening live performances. The food was very good, and the pool was lovely. The sea was crystal clear.

Our family vacation at Poseidon Hotel Sea Resort June 27 – July 7 We stayed at Poseidon Hotel Sea Resort from June 27 to July 7, as a family of four (two adults and two children). Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would be happy to return. Room & Hotel Grounds Our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, creating a very relaxing atmosphere. One of the highlights is the hotel’s private beach, which you can reach by walking through a charming green tunnel. Beach & Sea Access The beach has coarse sand and plenty of sunbeds — we never had trouble finding free ones, which shows that the hotel provides enough for all guests. The entrance to the sea starts with sand, followed by a slight step up onto a rock shelf. We recommend bringing water shoes. To reach deeper water where you can swim freely without touching the bottom, you need to walk about 15–20 meters out from the shore. Pool Area There were also always available spots around the pool, which was great for relaxing during the day. Food & Dining The food was more than enough, and there was always something to suit every taste. Each day, there was a choice of dishes with pork, beef, and chicken, as well as one seafood and one fish dish — and they varied every evening. There was always a soup available too. They also made fresh pizza daily and always had bolognese — a big hit with the kids. Desserts were delicious — I usually had several — and the fresh fruits were sweet and tasty. Staff & Service The reception staff were incredibly welcoming. For my wife’s birthday, they surprised us with a complimentary cake, which was a lovely gesture and made her arrival even more special. Restaurant staff were kind and helpful, and housekeeping staff were friendly and respectful of our space. Bar Service The team at the pool bar worked hard and were often very busy. The quality of coffee depended a bit on their mood or workload. If they were in good spirits, you’d get a tasty coffee from the professional espresso machine. If not, it might come from an automatic machine using powdered mix. Even when made from the espresso machine, the result varied — some baristas were very skilled, while others seemed rushed. Not a big issue, but it's worth noting that there isn’t a consistent standard for coffee quality. Conclusion We were very satisfied with our stay at Poseidon Hotel Sea Resort. While there might be minor imperfections, if you’re not expecting luxury-level service, the hotel delivers excellent value for money.

I just arrived and the rooms are dirty, they weren’t cleaned correctly. The tee cups were filled with used tee bags, the toilets are dirt and the room has hair on the floor. I went to the reception to clean the room. Bad first impression.
