Maritimo Beach Hotel

Провели 4 ночи в отеле. Комната прекрасная, номер 611, прямо рядом с маленьким бассейном (есть еще большой, главный, с видом на море). Территория отеля очень ухожена, тенистые улочки, все в зелени, множество зон отдыха с шезлонгами с видом на море.Море в 30-50 метрах, но это не пляж. Пляж чуть в стороне, в чудесной лагуне без волн, чистый, песочек, всего минута ходьбы от отеля. В 200 метрах отличный супермаркет - в нем есть все! включая одежду и купальники. Отличная таверна Амелия, тоже в 200 метрах. По другую сторону лагуны (пешком) множество таверн и круглосуточных баров, есть терраса над лагуной, вечером там особенно красиво. Кто-то писал привозить чайник и полотенца. Все есть в номере, и чайник и полотенца для пляжа. Завтрак: одинаковый каждый день, разные только кашки. Глазунья и бекон, салатов нет, есть нарезанные помидоры и огурцы. Сыры, маслины, йогурты, фрукты. И вкусные местные пончики и слоеные сырные пирожки. Хороший завтрак. Из развлечений в самом отеле был вечер саксофона, танцы.. приятно. Шум моря и стрекотание цикад - лучшая музыка. Рекомендую на 100%, отличный отдых!

When we arrived at hotel there was no room available for us. We were put into a temporary room until 5pm on day two, this meant we couldn't settle or unpack. When we finally got our room it was fine, apart from no safe, no drawers. No one from reception indicated that there was a safe in reception. Everywhere was accessed by stairs the very limited lift was no use to us as it only goes to the kitchen or the higher floors. We had to go up and down two flights of steps to go anywhere from our room. When we arrived at the Maritimo Beach hotel I was devastated to find the 'beach' was in fact a concrete dump. The nearest entrance to the sea was the harbour which was accessed by a steep slope and the water covered with an oil deposit. My beach holiday gone. The accessible town was down a steep slope and therefore inaccessible to me to get back up. We were left with very few Tavernas to eat in. Though I might add Amelia's was exceptional thank goodness. Breakfast and service at the hotel were standard although preference was always given to the German clientele. Especially at reception. The hotel was set in stunning gardens which was just as well because for 14 days we were confined there. Laurena and Athenia provided excellent service in the pool bar and stood out amongst the mediocre other staff. I could not get around the big pool, but happily settled for the quieter pool but was fixed by the ladder entrance to the pool which meant I had to rely on others for help. Over all the holiday was not fit for purpose for someone with disabilities. I was very disappointed.

First time at Maritimo, when we arrived no Welcome at all..told to sit and wait for our room..got forgotten about as the Lady welcomed a party of regulars!!! Room was wonderful sea view and sunsets were stunning. Room was clean, spacious and perfect. Pool staff are absolutely amazing and friendly food really good. Breakfast was lovely lots of choice and fresh fruit well organised except when regular staff had a day off. And in the evening the staff again brilliant except some wandered around helping themselves to their dinner whilst service still on. Evening entertainment was a bit sparce.Quite a lot of clicky regular/returnee groups of loud tourists who took over the pool area which wasn't nice when trying to relax. Saying this we would come back

Marítimo is in a lovely location on the sea front , we had a sea front room which had lovely views. The room was a decent size and clean , bed very comfortable. We had a problem with our shower bracket , we reported it three times , it was never fixed so my husband taped it up in the end , not what you would expect to do. It would have been a cheap fix for the hotel to replace it . The breakfast is very , very basic , cheap ingredients,no pots of yogurt, fruit cut up which was not replenished regularly. We gave up and popped to the local bakery which is excellent . The pool area is very crowded and noisy so we opted for the grass area at the front of the hotel , which was calm and tranquil . The pool staff are very lovely and chatty. Pool food not great . The smoking is a problem , I would suggest separate areas . Overall I would say this is a three star hotel probably given four stars due to the spa on site .

Have just come back from a lovely two weeks at the Maritimo. Fantastic place both Hotel and Resort. We had a superior sea view apartment booked we were disappointed to find we were on the ground floor with only partial sea view. Spoke to Antonia on reception within 48 hours moved to a beautiful large 1st floor apartment with fantastic sea and sunset views. Staff are lovely from management and reception down to cleaners, would definitely recommend. Hope to go back one day.

We love this hotel, we have been numerous times and always have a great holiday. The staff are excellent, the two ladies at the pool bar are fantastic, nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Breakfast is good, we stay B&B as like to eat out in the evening. Great pools, the main one has been altered this year and is now not so deep, love the steps for getting in and out. Rooms cleaned every day with fresh towels. Sun loungers could be more comfortable! Now the reason I only give 4 stars…the smoking…it was absolutely awful this year and not something we have encountered before at this hotel…smoking on sun loungers with no regard for who might be sitting next to them, smoking in the pool bar when people are eating, smoking on the terraces..why are there not separate smoking and non smoking areas? It was vile, we couldn’t get away from it whilst at the hotel, there seemed to be incessant chain smoking and then you can add in those revolting fruity vapes…ugh! Please sort it out Maritimo else I doubt we will be returning…

Beautifull very nice and clean hotel. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. Fantastic seaview , the pool is very clean and you can sunbathe on the grass or poolside. Hotel is very near to the old town and We loved Every MINUTE of our holiday.

We stayed at the Maritimo Beach hotel from 31 July for 10 nights. This was our first time in Crete and from the minute we arrived we knew we had chosen the right hotel. Very clean. Nice food. Great service. Really friendly staff especially George and Georgia in the restaurant who always had big smiles. We always stayed around the smaller pool as was right near our room (R711) and much quieter than main pool. The resort itself is very chilled with great bars and restaurants. We will definitely be back

Amazing family trip and we loved the hotel. The hotel itself is kept really well, in an excellent location, and the staff are exceptional. George who welcomed us is really friendly and was so helpful all week. Athena who runs the pool bar is absolutely lovely and can't do enough for you. All the tourists from whatever country they come seem to take to her. My wife was 7 months pregnant, and we had our 9 year old son with us. The staff went above and beyond to help us and always went the extra mile to help my wife. The location to the little town of Sissi is about a 5 minute walk, or a 30 second swim if you fancy it. You really get the true Crete /Greek experience here because of its location. We went half board. Breakfast was fantastic. Evening menu had lots of options to cater for all pallets. I've never visited the same place twice, but I may make an exception for this hotel.
