Hotel Ca' Serena

What can I say amazing experience from start to finish. Although we weren't in one of the Lake View rooms unfortunately it did not ruin the stay at all as all we had to do was walk out our door and there it was. The staff at this hotel were nothing but helpful and friendly. My husband and I made a lovely friend in Sergio (hope that is spelt right) What an absolute asset he is to your hotel, he genuinely made our stay with his conversation and tips. The location is just perfect for walking to practically anywhere within 5 km. The room was basic but so so clean and my only complaint is that the one window looked onto a kind of brick wall garden which held someone's bikes but we didn't really spend much time in the rooms we were too busy out exploring everyday. If we were to return we would most certainly stay here again.

The Villa Ca’Serena may easily qualify as the best AirB&B offering in Santa Rosa. The property achieves the spirit of a lush Italian villa. It is located in a tranquil part of Proctor Terrace, a convenient stone’s throw from a Safeway/CVS Pharmacy shopping center containing many other businesses including restaurants. You are warmly greeted by owner/proprietor Judith, who inspired construction of the villa which houses a number of suites. Ours was the Tuscan Suite, a comfortably appointed bedroom with front table and chairs, rear bath with Jet Tub, walk-in shower and tiny kitchenette. Furnishings were richly in keeping with an Italian villa theme. Sleeping was comfortable with a central queen-size bed and a separate single bed. An efficient fan and excellent ventilation countered warm June days and nights were cool. There is no air conditioning. The suite had some essentials including coffee, coffee machine and filters, basic plates, bowls and cutlery. Benches, tables and chairs are arranged around common areas and a large, romantic lion-head fountain is a central feature offering tranquil water sounds. There is a laundry room at the front of the property available for use. Limited off-street parking is available. An automatic security gate protects the property. For any special needs, Judith is eager to help out and is highly respectful of guests’ privacy. Our friends and relatives were similarly warmly welcomed, as they were all astonished at the incredible ambiance of the villa. Everyone took a business card from the display to share with contacts who would be delighted to lodge at the property. For those looking for a cozy boutique experience, Villa Ca’Serena rates a solid five stars.

We stayed at this hotel for one day, let me tell you that wasn’t enough! The service was impeccable especially with the two women at the reception. The hotel is right on the lake and near lots of great restaurants. We most definitely will be coming back!

We couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. Friendly, helpful staff to greet us on arrival, we were able to check in early which was a great relief as it meant we could freshen up and go straight out on the paddleboards which were right outside on the water. The location was perfect, beautiful views over the lake, lots of lovely restaurants nearby and around a 15/ 20 minute walk into the main town/ castle. We have stayed in Sirmione before, closer to the main town and we much preferred being further out this time. There were some lovely places to explore and it was great being close to the lake and water sports. There is a restaurant downstairs which smelt lovely but we didn’t get chance to try it. We had a huge balcony with Sun loungers and a table and chairs. This got the sun all day so it was perfect.

Ho soggiornato all’Hotel Ca’ Serena per un weekend e posso dire che è stato un vero piacere. La posizione è semplicemente perfetta: situato direttamente sul Lago di Garda, offre una vista mozzafiato e l’accesso immediato alla spiaggia. Le camere sono curate, pulitissime e arredate con gusto. Ho apprezzato molto l’atmosfera accogliente e la sensazione di relax che si respira in ogni angolo della struttura. Il personale è stato straordinariamente gentile e disponibile, pronto a soddisfare ogni esigenza con un sorriso. La colazione, servita in una splendida sala con vista sul lago, era ricca e varia, con opzioni per tutti i gusti. Un altro punto di forza è la posizione strategica: l’hotel si trova a pochi passi da ristoranti e attrazioni turistiche, il che lo rende ideale sia per chi desidera esplorare che per chi preferisce rilassarsi. Consiglio vivamente l’Hotel Ca’ Serena a chiunque voglia vivere un soggiorno indimenticabile sul Lago di Garda. Ci tornerò sicuramente!

Hotel con una vista spettacolare sul lago di Garda. Alle camere ed ai bagni servirebbe una bella rinfrescata, nel complesso abbastanza pulito. Peccato per i balconi con poca privacy troppo vicini a loro senza un muro adatto che li divida. Da rivedere anche il parcheggio. Colazione nulla di particolare tranne il cappuccino, quello fantastico!
