Excellent, friendly and relaxed hotel in a beautiful location. We had the balcony room with fantastic views of Lake Garda and Sirmione. Staff were really friendly and made everyone feel as you’d expect from a top hotel. The decor and finishes throughout were first class and spotless. Pet friendly also, now that’s making the difference. So nice. Highly recommended and we will revisit ASAP.

Hotel was absolutely beautiful, lovely spacious gardens around pool area. All public areas were lovely decorated and immaculately clean. We did have an issue with our room, which in our opinion should never have been sold as a superior room. It was very dated, quite grubby and the curtain was hanging off the rails. It also had a most unusual bathroom set awkwardly on a split level. So not suitable for anybody less mobile. That said our issues were rectified by the hotel staff, and we were moved to another room five days later when there was availability. All staff were polite and helpful throughout our stay. Sirmione was extremely busy and the hotel was a lovely retreat to return to from a busy day.

Just had a fabulous 5 night stay in this beautiful immaculate hotel, after spending 2 nights in Verona this was a nice relaxing stay, we had a deluxe lake view room with a balcony, room was very clean with a nice modern bathroom, breakfast was excellent, eggs cooked to order, bacon and sausage on the buffet and a selection of cooked meats, cheese, pastries and breads plus fresh fruits and yogurts and cakes, with the lovely weather it was very pleasant to eat outside on the terrace. We had lunch most days at the poolside restaurant, which had a very good food and drink menu, pool area was nice and spacious with lots of shady spots if required. A nice touch was having a pool bag in the room with pool towels provided, and each evening you left it outside your door to be exchanged for fresh towels for the following day. All of the staff were very pleasant. A nice 5 minute walk and you were in the centre of sirmione, which was very busy as expected for the time of year, but the hotel was lovely and quiet and relaxing. If we return to sirmione we wouldn’t hesitate to stay in this hotel again.

Just returned from Olivi hotel. It is a very lovely well kept hotel in a super location to the restaurants and main shops in one of the most prettiest towns on lake Garda. Situated just 5minutes walk from the centre of Sermione which enables it to be peaceful out of the busy narrow streets. It has a lovely calm feel to it which is perfect after a day of sightseeing. The spa is great and we were lucky to get a free taster as it wasn’t busy. Breakfast is good with good selection. There is a menu to order drinks and other hot food that is not in the buffet, just look carefully as some items are extra, it does state this. If you want a sea view please make sure you organise before as it is stunning. There is loads of restaurants, shops, ice cream vendors. It is close to the castle which is worth a visit. Sirmione centre is a Very unique place as you have to enter through the castle gate. Be aware that there are car restrictions into the centre, which is busy with people walking around. Cars tend to park outside which is heaving and not enough parking spaces (we chose not to drive). Instead we used the ferry crossing to get to other towns across the lake. The best way to get around! One other important point if you are heading out and need a taxi to train station make sure you book well in advance. I could go on forever about the good points. I’ll just say this it was one of the best holidays I’ve experienced.

We loved it here! The staff was great, the rooms were clean, although a little small, but definitely worth a stay. The pool area is beautiful. We used the pools in the Spa as well and they were wonderful. Looking forward to going back! So beautiful and relaxing.

THE SPA is lovely. the massage was wonderful but nobody showed us around. we learned when we were leaving about the other amenities we could have used at the spa. I wish we were told i believe there was a steam room etc. the products are wonderful. it says you have to use the spa consecutive hours so if you get a massage pay attention to that if it's in between the 3 hours you are allowed in.

Absolutely lovely! Great setting inside the old town with lake views beautiful gardens and pool. Lots of character in the hotel the staff are super helpful and friendly We changed rooms as 141 has a tiny balcony so all our bags were moved for us with no trouble a gentle 2 minute stroll into town and all its restaurants and bars we were spoilt for choice despite it being peak season and very crowded the town still held its charm it didn’t feel overwhelming busy and finding a seat or table was no problem we thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay

We’re a family of four, first visit to Italy and had the best welcome here. The hotel is very chic, the rooms are comfortable and all of the staff were friendly and super helpful. The outdoor pool is a great place to hang out, meanwhile you’re only a few minutes walk away from the heart of Sirmione. Sirmione is gorgeous but gets very busy by midday (4th most popular tourist spot in Italy apparently). The hotel is placed perfectly though as it’s tucked out of the way of the throngs. Great base to explore more of Lake Garda which has so many varied and beautiful spots to visit and things to do - recommend a trip to Verona and also worth hiring a bike to see more of things up close. It’s a cliche but it’s true, the food was exceptional pretty much everywhere - special nod again to the staff of the Olivi, the catering staff were a delight to all of us - our kids really appreciated their attention and humour. Absolute treat, brilliant staff and a credit to Sirmione.

The hotel Olivi and the resort of Sirmione were both brilliant. Beautiful old town with so many nice cafe's and restaurants. The hotel is on about 5-6 minutes walk from the town centre. The holiday was just so relaxing and we enjoyed ferries to other towns on the lake. We will be going back in the future

The hotel has exceeded our expectations. The food offering was delicious, varied and the restaurant staff extremely welcoming and accommodating. Access to the spa each day as part of our package was a perfect addition. The rooms were comfortable and the views very pleasing. Some constructive feedback would be the following: Reception staff need to offer to help with luggage. Climbing the steps up to Reception then to our room after being up for almost 20 hours was a challenge and the offer to do so for us both on arrival and departure would have been nice. Reception staff should ask whether you’ve enjoyed your stay. It’s the little touches that matter. The night manager needs to be little more hospitable and friendly. His attitude this morning has tainted our stay which is a great shame. We forgot to order a takeaway breakfast last night in preparation for our early departure, there was no offer to try and source a piece of bread for us Toiletries in the room need to be reviewed. We stayed for a week and was provided with a square inch of soap to last us. The teeny bottles need to be replaced with larger refillable ones which are better for the environment. Bottled water should be provided free of charge. Tea and coffee should be provided for in the rooms as a matter of course. To charge 1 euro for a cheap sachet of Nescafé is disappointing.

Very disappointed with our visit today we arrived at 9.30am to be told the spa opens at 12 ok fair enough we go off for some breakfast and come back to the spa where we are told the steam room and sauna etc aren’t open til 2pm, so we have a long leisurely swim and get out ready to try steam room and sauna only to be told they open at 3pm !!!!! Honestly sooo disappointing we paid 40 euros each for just a swim - shocking service !!! Why is it not just open all day or at the very least made clear when you enquire totally ripped off avoid avoid avoid

Hotel Olivi is wonderful. The outstanding feature is the warmth, friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Although everyone at the hotel were excellent in their dealings with us there were two individuals who shone. Damin and Alessandro work in the restaurant and were incredibly friendly and helpful every time we went down for breakfast. Overall the hotel is very clean and well tended. Our room was comfortable and cleaned every day. We used the spa on one day. It is excellent! W cannot recommend Olivi highly enough.

Having read the reviews, we were expecting a warm welcome to the Hotel Olivi. Far from it!! Reception staff on our arrival watched us struggle with heavy suitcases up the steep flight of steps to be told "women pack too much stuff". Very rude. It continued in that vain throughout the duration of our 7 day stay. Room 135 was allocated to us as a Superior Lake Side Room. Superior it was not! The same front of house man reluctantly admitted it wasn't an upgraded room, and after standing our ground, agreed to change our room the following day. This seems to be the trick they play on English woman, as we were informed by other holiday makers. The Breakfast staff were less than helpful and took 30 minutes for an omelette to arrive. To pay 10 euros extra is cheeky when you have already paid for breakfast. If you want fruit salad, again another payment. The hotel surroundings and hotel itself has been tastefully modernised, but the staff let it down. They could also do with on site plumber as may people complained about the showers not working, our toilet was intermittent. Would not recommend this hotel and suggest that they all be sent on a customer service course (excluding the cats who were well behaved!)

This is an excellent hotel and one of the best I have stayed in in Italy. The staff were so friendly and professional. The pool area and gardens were amazing. Also the terrace to eat breakfast and dinner was just perfect. Definitely will be returning again. Sirmione a great place to visit.
