Palazzo del Magnifico B&B

A fantastic location , excellent view of the baptistery from the room. Right in the heart of the Cathederal complex. Although siena is hilly, the B& B is one level. No lift required. The hosts are friendly and informative of the area.. they sent a video of the location and how to check which was perfect. We did not have breakfast but there is a lovely bar around the corner (Roxy bar) which did great breakfast, lunches and evening drinks. The room is large with a fridge and proper size mugs for tea and coffee! The bed is very comfortable and we slept with the window open and were not troubled with any noise.

We spent four nights in Palazzo del Magnifico and were delighted with our choice of B&B. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. This husband and wife team do everything they can to make your stay in Siena wonderful. Our room looked out at the rear of the Cathedral onto a piazza, which is a stunning sight. Fresh towels, ultra clean room and bathroom, with a piping hot shower. We were even able to borrow an iron to press my shirt for a wedding. Filippo set out the buffet breakfast, a table laden with a wide choice of goodies: juices, croissants, cakes, bread, yoghurt, fresh fruit, conserves, cereal, ham, cheese. Plus he brought tea or coffee to our table with refills as required. Those breakfasts were fuel for our days in Siena. The Palazzo has lots of history (see their website), and we found it nicely located with just a short walk to Il Campo ( where the Palio takes place). A small supermarket is just three minutes away. Our host were great. Filippo even booked us a taxi to take us to the train station on our last day. I recommend Palazzo del Magnifico unreservedly. I shall stay there again if I return to Siena.

Très bon accueil, bonne literie et bon petit déjeuner.Petit bémol nous sommes passés par car valetLeonardo pour la voiture et en plus des 60€ de parking, nous avons reçu une amende de 104€ parce que en ramenant la voiture,le voiturier est passé en ZTL. Malgré nos démarches il a fallu payer l'amende. Quelqu'un n'avait pas fait son travail pour l'enregistrement de la voiture.

Arrivées le 12 au soir, départ le 14 en journée. Nous avons été super ravies d’avoir choisi ce logement pour séjourner à Sienne. Des hôtes super à l’écoute et réactifs, un logement super propre et chaleureux et le plus merveilleux était bien évidemment la localisation du logement. Nous y retournerons avec grand plaisir ! Este hotel ha sido una de las mejores elecciones en mi vida. Una casa antigua a un costado de la Catedral, con una ubicación inmejorable. Filippo y Camila los mejores anfitriones. Las habitaciones divinas y el desayuno bien. Lo único es que no tiene aire acondicionado, pero te ponen un ventilador. Como éramos muchos, teníamos cuatro habitaciones, una noche el hotel fue solo para nosotros y nos sentimos muy comodos. Abajo del hotel hay un bistro para tomar buen vino y tapas. Sin duda regresaría y de verdad lo recomiendo.

Il B&B è sito in un palazzo del 1300.Abbiamo scelto la camera vista Battistero e la posizione è risultata straordinaria. Inoltre la camera è dì dimensioni ragguardevoli ed altrettanto il bagno. Silenziosa e romantica. Non abbiamo provato la colazione. Unico neo : la mancanza dì appendini per gli asciugamani nel bagno.
