Phum Khmer Lodge - Village Cambodian Eco-Lodge

If I can give this place more than five stars, I absolutely would. From the moment I arrived, I experienced exceptional hospitality - warm, attentive, and consistent throughout my entire stay. Every member of the staff was respectful, thoughtful, and went above and beyond to ensure my needs were not only met but exceeded. The property itself is immaculate and beautifully designed. Inspired by Cambodia’s rich architectural heritage, Phum Khmer Lodge consists of 6 private villas styled like traditional stilted wooden houses. I stayed in the Udong Udom house; a huge, spacious suite with pool view and my four nights spent there were excellent. Special mention to the manager Mr Sona for all his assistance and support, from arranging transportation, to booking shows, and ensuring that my dietary requests are met. His level of service is top notch and exemplary. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. This is a place run with lots of love. ❤️

We have just visited this wonderful residence with two other couples. Created from old buildings to recreate the village where the owner grew up nearby. The beautiful, gentle and caring staff made our three nights blissful. I would definitely recommend you stay.

Paradise on earth! Stunning property with a beautiful pool surrendered by a lush garden. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a lot of attention to details. The staff is kind and attentive. The food and drinks are excellent. I also had a massage, and it was heaven.

This unique boutique hotel, made up of six beautiful and peaceful traditional Cambodian houses, was the perfect retreat after long, hot days exploring Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples. The setting is serene and full of character — a wonderful blend of culture and comfort. We stayed in a lovely three-bedroom house, which was spacious and beautifully designed. Just a heads-up for future guests: the two levels are only connected by an external staircase, which wasn’t a big issue for us, but good to know in advance. The staff were always accommodating and incredibly helpful, assisting us with everything from tour bookings to transfers. While the price is a bit higher compared to local standards, the experience, service, and peaceful atmosphere made it absolutely worth it. The onsite spa is a perfect bonus for a relaxing massage, and the restaurant serves excellent food. Highly recommended for those looking for something special and authentic during their stay in Siem Reap.

We stayed for 3 days as a family with kids and it was superb! The rooms are perfect as the bathrooms. Cleanliness, comfort and usability, all great. The staff is amazing, super friendly and always of help. Especially the restaurant is so good, you almost don’t have the need to go to eat out. This hotel and staff is a true hidden gem!!! If we come back, we sure stay here again! Thank you to everyone and many blessings!

Amazingly quiet and green in the midst of the busy city. A 30 min walk and 5 min tuktuk ride to the night market and central locations, 15/20 min tuktuk ride to Angkor Wat. It's super easy to get around. Everyone in the staff goes the extra mile - smiling, kind, attentive and super helpful. Breakfast is perfect, you can stay a week and try something different and delicious every day. I used the restaurant a couple of times for lunch/dinner, it's a little pricier than average meal in SR (around $4/5 for starter, $7/8 for dish) but it's fresh and super tasty (the amok was very good). The pool is not huge especially if there are children around but the area is perfect to relax after walking around the gorgeous temples. The lodges are built on the model of the owner's childhood village in the Siem Reap area so has a very homey feel. Overall I had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend for a solo or couple trip (or family as some of the lodges are pretty spacious).
