We chose this hotel after staying at a sister hotel in Phnom Penh. We expected a similar level of service but when we first arrived, the front desk staff seemed unconvinced that we even had a reservation to stay there. Once they finally confirmed our reservation, the staff was more friendly and helpful. We liked the family room as it had two separate bedrooms and then a small common area. The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. The only down side was the windows were covered with a glaze to block out the sun but it made the room too dark and cave like. We had to open the windows and door to get more light into the room. We liked the location on a quiet street with a short walk to coffee stands and a nice supermarket. While there were a couple of restaurants nearby, you really needed to take a tuktuk for a wider variety of restaurant choices. After visiting some of the busier parts of town, I was grateful that we were staying in a quieter area. We would definitely stay again because the room was great for our family’s size but we would definitely enjoy a better lit room! We went to Cambodia to enjoy the sun so felt disappointed that we had such a dark room.
