That is beautiful weekend in Siem Reap. I very Enjoy stay with this place ( Golden Banana ) the Room was clean, Big Room , nice Swimming pool. the staff very friendly, help full .close to the town just walk 5mn to the town. 2 staffs is good her name Lisa and Prolit they very friendly, I will be back to stay with this please again.

My second stay still Great 😃👍. Very welcome, friendly and helpful. Good breakfast with good coffee ☕. Highly recommend this hotel.the location is the best With walking distance to every main spot like night market old market pubs treat.

We booked this after seeing the rave reviews. We had just come off a Premium Tour through Vietnam And Thailand so maybe comparison are not fair? The reviews rated this a "9". I would tend to disagree, maybe a 9 for budget travellers...... First the good stuff: Close to the market, nice staff who tried their hardest. Big room with three beds. Now for the negatives in no particular order. Minimal breakfast and they forgot to box us up one for our early departure! The hotel consists of several different buildings. Our was located down a dark unlit alley adjacent to some personal homes. They had roosters so there was always an early wake up call! No elevators, stairs up to second level were steep and uneven, variable heights, unlit at night, landing to enter room was very small and needed cell phone light to find key opening. Sink dripped, doors to enter room and to balcony were quite flimsy and did not lend an air of confidence, no safe in room, sheets were stained, no pool towels, quite dated and in need of repairs/sprucing up. We were there for three nights and our travel partners had no air conditioning at all in the 32C heat!!!! They were finally moved on their last evening

Such a lovely little hotel. Is situated in a quiet location with lots of greenery, but really close to town. Super friendly and helpful staff in the hotel and the restaurant. I inadvertently booked check out on the wrong day, but the staff found me another room without any fuss. The restaurant staff are very friendly, and was lovely to chat with them . Good facilities and overall a very enjoyable stay 😁

What a little gem of a hotel in the heart of Sien Reap. The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and outdoor balcony. Staff were friendly and more than willing to give helpful advice on the local attractions. And their English was exceptional. The restaurant has a variety of Khmer and western food on offer. Plus breakfast of a morning. Great for busy tourists. I'd suggest to the owner/s not to lose staff as they are a great asset to the hotel.

Very nice hotel with great location - walking distance to French quarter, but still quiet and peaceful. Staff is also very helpful and friendly and the rooms spacious and comfortable, all though a little worn around the edges. Great value for a such a nice hotel 👍 Elling

Excellent service from very friendly and attentive staff Horng and Smey at reception Lady I didn't get name of offered me breakfast alternative of congee one morning. She also works in reception. Super friendly Efficient housekeeping always made room up whilst I was at breakfast I had excellent 10 days stay. Home away from home

We have just stayed at Golden banana for our second time on our trip back from Vietnam and don’t want to leave. Everything about this hotel is amazing. The staff who greet you at every door, by the pool, at breakfast or on check in/ checkout are so warm and friendly. The hotel is beautiful in every way, the rooms have everything you need and do comfortable. The food is unbelievably delicious. The hotel is situated amongst the markets and not too far from the temples. It is a short drive from the airport also. This is a must experience on your travels to siem reap.
