Where to begin. The express transfer took over 3 hours (an alleged 1 hour journey to the hotel), which included a 25 minute stop at a service station, meaning that we missed dinner after arriving at 2115, flight arrived at 1730 and we were outside the terminal by 1750. The first room we were given had to be rejected due to a smell of sewage coming from the bathroom. The 2nd room we were given flooded up to our ankles and we were given a 3rd room, which was a twin, despite our repeated requests for a double bed. The shower was broken and you had to hold it in your hand, with no working extractor fan in the bathroom, which may explain the sewage smells. On our 1st full day we were informed by another guest the hotel manager had punched a complaining guest and was joined by up to 7 other staff members in assaulting the guest in front of his wife and 3 young children. No food was labeled at any time and totally inappropriate for the mealtimes serving marrow, carrots and left over dinner casserole for breakfast, leaving the only warm option as eggs or cold food. No toaster, no bread, only individually packaged bread rolls. and all hot food was more often than not cold unless you went to the restaurant within 30 minutes of it opening. Plenty of desert options, such a shame they were all tasteless unless you wanted fruit. There was no entertainment despite this being a priority of ours and the hotel website advertising this was a daily occurrence. We do not think club level sound Turkish music and staff Turkish dancing constitutes entertainment and when requested to turn the music down so you could hear each other speak the staff said this was their programme and to go and sit down or complain at reception, who couldn’t understand as they did not speak English and I do not know Turkish or German. The rooms did not have enough storage for 2 peoples clothing and was cleaned sporadically. The bed sheets were changed once in 2 weeks. The towels were changed when we found the room cleaners and changed them ourselves, after repeated requests at reception. The floors were cleaned twice in 2 weeks. We managed a warm shower 3 times in the 14 days we were there as hot water seemed to be beyond this hotel. This was if you could get in the room as the key cards constantly failed and we had to go to reception to have them reset. For a 100 room hotel to only have 58 sunbeds around the pool seemed inadequate, but as the pool is surrounded on 3 sides by the hotel and got very little sun, which also promoted algae in the pool, this probably doesn’t matter much. We did not see the pool cleaned once in the time we were there, only the surrounding terrace which was mopped as guests were still at the pool, although you were told you were not allowed in the pool after 1830. The hotel does not correspond to 4* at all, but at most 3*. It is not a RESORT, as it is in the name, but a small hotel without a garden and greenery after a reconstruction that was not very successful. The rooms are on several floors without an elevator, there are a lot of confusing corridors and niches, the lower part of the hotel was heated several times by poorly constructed sewage, in our room 1203 on the ground floor next to the reception, the sewage was more or less always felt, and this was the room after the replacement - the first one did not lock the balcony and it was really very tiny, practically everyone changed rooms - faulty balcony locking, no lights, smell, etc. But the room after the change was also small and had minimal storage space and no space at all, there was no table or chair in the room - there wasn't even a minimal space for it at all, there wasn't even a stool by the mirror, plastic. the table with chairs was on the mini balcony without a cord, the balcony was easily accessible from the next room - no privacy at all, the room had one narrow cupboard and one shelf and 1 hanger at the top and bottom, the mattress was comfortable. The bathroom was renovated, it did not have a fan, only a ventilation shutter directly in the main corridor to the reception - no sense of privacy - constant calls of passers-by could be heard in the bathroom and in the room + the smell of sewage, the shower usually only had cold or only hot water. The entrance door was new with an approx. 0.5 - 1 cm wide gap in the length of approx. 1 m again into the main corridor, the door to the bathroom could only be closed very noisily - completely poorly fitted. The beach is beyond an acceptable walking distance - more like 5 km, it is sandy with a gradual entrance, the way to it took a completely overcrowded 15-20 min. by mini bus, but a large part of the guests did not always fit in it, so you again approx. 20 min. they waited for the bus to come back for them and then the journey took 20 minutes. to the beach.., and the bus only ran about 3-4 times a day, it didn't start until 10 a.m., the bus was in such bad shape that halfway through the stay, the police stopped it on the way to the beach and shut it down permanently. Eating - even for the undemanding, a very small selection and monotonous, daily small shapes of minced meat - thawed semi-finished products, other meat was chicken in vegetables or fish + above all a lot of single-type stewed vegetables (peas, chickpeas, beans - the food containers were full of that), there were no classic potatoes, french fries 1x, American potatoes 2x (a problem for families with children), no ice cream for children at all, drinks for diabetics without sugar (cola zero, etc.) also not at all, mint was repeatedly missing from the mojito... The corresponding diet was , as we mostly agreed, only once, during the Turkish evening. We weren't hungry, but it was a weaker average of 3*, when there was an exceptionally tasty
