Şaka gibi bir 5 yıldızlı otel daha otele girerken güvenlikte sıkıntı başladı valizlerimizi alıp giriş yapacağız güvenliğe anlatmamıza rağmen ısrarla kaba bir tavırla otel sahibinin geleceğini aracı hemen otel önünden kaldırmamız gerektiğini söyledi.Valeye vermek istediğimizde aracın modelli olduğunu sorumluluk almak istemediğini söyledi otopark deseniz toz toprak için otele 600 metre uzaklıkta saçma sapan bir yer 😄 otel yönetimini gerçekten tebrik ediyorum maliyetleri azaltmak için ellerinden geleni yapmışlar o tek kullanımlık duş jeli şişeleri içindeki menşei belli olmayan alkol gerçekten zeka ürünü.örneğin rakı yerine anason aromalı likör viski yerine turunç aromalı malt likör veriyorlar.Otelin kaba çalışanlardan bi su rica ediyorsunuz servis yapmak yerine yanlarına çağırıp elinize tutuşturuyorlar.Sabah kahvaltı için masa arıyorsunuz bütün masalar pislik için temizlensin diye rica ediyorsunuz yardımcı olmak yerine yine kaba bir tavırla kendi bölgesi olmadığını yardımcı olamayacağını söyleyen bir garsonla karşılaşıyorsunuz.Ailecek güzel bir haftasonu geçirelim diye geldik hevesimiz kursağımızda kaldı.Gerçekten bu kadar güzel bir mevki bu kadar kötü değerlendirilebilir tebrikler.Kısacası siz siz olun sakın tercih etmeyin.

Arrived in the hotel about 3am to be told the room was not ready. Another couple had arrived before us and were in the same boat. The hotel did provide an all night snack bar that we were directed to.Food was pretty bland and had been sitting out for a fair amount of time. When we got into the room about an hour later it was OK. When we got up around 10 we found the room overlooked the carpark and dump where a few old fridges had gone to their rest. So sitting out on the balcony was not the experience it should have been. The staff in the hotel were all great with the exception of one restaurant manager who was a bit rude to the wife when she complained that there were no meatballs on the grill and the chefs seemed to be messing about... When the meatballs did come the wee chef took the pittas away in a petulant sort of manner. We soon realised that although the restaurant was open from 7 till 9, they started tidying up about 8.20. So of you were planning to eat later your choices got a little limited. But as I said the rest of the staff were excellent. Yilmaz and Mirza really looked after everyone. They were really attentive, polite, hardworking and helpful. Thanks guys. In other reviews it talked about not being a n English speaking hotel. Rubbish. Although not everyone speaks English (why should they ) the staff who could not speak English made every effort to communicate. The security guard used google translate to give me directions. There is no suggestion that any nationality is favoured over anyone else. The hotel was busy. It might have been full but it didn't seem overcrowded. You do have to get up early if you want a poolside sunbed. Beach and beach bar were good Gozleme was excellent here. Beer and wine were both pretty terrible everywhere.

Where to start! We stayed in room 2101 between 14th-21st July. If you are British or Irish basically if you speak English avoid this hotel. It is catered for Germans. Bar staff - all inclusive however if you interrupt them talking to each other or even ask for anything the look of disgust on their faces is terrible. Drinks are mostly served In small glasses but avoid the “beer” as it only half filled cause the bar staff can’t be bothered filling completely. Reception - again rude, ignorant and talk down to you like you are causing them grief. Our incidents. A pair of really expensive swim shorts blew off the balcony during the night into another room. We took pictures of the shorts etc and went down to reception. We were told that they would locate the pair and leave in our room. Job done we thought however 6 hours later and several visits to the reception we were told that they could not locate them, we then produced evidence that they costs a lot and yip you guessed it within 5 mins they had miraculously appeared!! Our pick up time for the airport was 11pm not ideal for a midday check out However we done what 99% of people would do and requested a late check out. So after multiple trips to the most unhelpful reception ever to be told to keep coming back, we went back at 8am on the day of our departure to be told to come back at 8.30am. We then went back at 8.30am to be told that all the rooms in the entire hotel are now booked!! Must be some amount of arrivals due In on 1 day! In between the numerous visits which we were told to do we were greeted with “this is turkey not Europe” “we can’t keep a room aside just for you” and “ not our fault the hotel is busy” if the hotel is “sold out” then I’d really hate to see it quiet!! The aircon on our room stopped working. We noticed around 5pm after being at the pool all day and went down to ask what was happening. We were told that it would be fixed by the time we got back from dinner. After dinner around 9 again you guessed it still not working so we went back to find out what was happening to be told it would not be fixed until the next day, so it’s went from a couple of hours to the next day. Ok we’ll just need to live with it for a night. Next day still not fixed so again we went back down to be told it had affected 30 rooms not just ours and when we asked if we could move rooms the really really helpful staff (NOT) greeted us with “no we can’t move you because what are we supposed to do move 30 rooms”. That night it was fixed so for 24 hours we had no air con when it’s between 35-40 degrees all day isn’t ideal. It’s a shame these few instances ruined a decent holiday, weather, food and SOME of the staff are good but overall a horrible experience of being constantly lied to by reception and talked down to like we are 2nd class guests. Plenty of other beautiful hotels on the same stretch of road so I’d advise to go there.

So generally this hotel was okay. The staff work very hard and the housekeeping staff keep this hotel absolutely spotless. The architecture is absolutely beautiful and the beach buggies in the heat are a godsend! There was a nice cold towel upon our arrival and whilst the staff don’t speak any English, they try their best and do smile / gesticulate to help communicate. However, none of this overly matters when you’re spending the holiday locked up inside the room with severe d&v. The funny part is, we were actually quite careful with what we ate as we had heard everyone talking around the pool. Before we know it, anti sickness & anti diarrhoea tablets were being passed around between couples / families like sweets! We ran out and had to walk 20 minutes for the pharmacy in 41 degree heat. As mentioned below, the TUI rep ‘Daniel’ (whilst polite) simply said ‘the pharmacy is a 20 minute walk away, but it’s the heat that’s caused everyone to get poorly’. My boyfriend and I have been in much hotter conditions and never had a stomach bug from the heat. The food was left out for hours (often uncovered) and there were flies everywhere on it. The food was never probed and all ‘cold’ food was not kept to a low temperature despite the 40°+ weather. The hot food was not kept hot either. Best advice would be to go to your meals as soon as they open to ensure it’s as fresh as possible, as the hotel won’t. One of the staff members even said ‘new chef, nowhere near as good as the last one’. The bed was also absolutely solid - although when we mentioned this to the hotel, a lovely lady from housekeeping came with a duvet to help soften it. So can’t fault them too much for that, but do make sure you ask rather than being left uncomfortable! Overall, decent value for money and kind / hardworking staff, however, as mentioned, none of this matters when you are wasting days of your all inclusive / holiday due to being locked inside trying to fight over the bathroom!

So where to start…. Let’s go with the positives. The hotel is lovely. It’s spotless. The pool is a decent size. Some staff are good others couldn’t care less. So staff wise. Yalcin in the restaurant is amazing. Looked after us the whole trip. Went above and beyond and spoke decent English as well. Abdullah (cheers mate) was another one without any complaints. Top bloke. Pints who waitress’ the bar at the terrace is fantastic. 3 staff members that made the holiday. Food wise is shocking. They cater for the Germans. Not only this but it’s not even hot. They don’t prove it at all. For example prawns and sushi just out in the open. Not even on ice. Hot food in the so called hot plates weren’t even hot. Everyone that we knew came down with illness. You expect a bit of a dodgy belly now and again abroad but to be violently sick as well is not good. The rep put this down to the heat. Absolutely useless! Another couple that lost their cases became ill on day 2 of their holiday and blamed it on anxiety which is laughable. He just didn’t want to do any paperwork The entertainment is really poor. Nothing on during the day apart from the odd water polo and aqua gym if there’s more than 5 people to do it. Evening entertainment is rubbish. Repetitive and lasts about 20mins. English is not one of their main languages so made it difficult. Dont get your hopes up about the slides. Advertised from 10-12 and 3-5 but came on about 3.30-5 only. So you do have to make your own entertainment poolside. The people we met on this holiday is what made it. Everyone was lovely and friendly so it was a fantastic holiday due to this however the above issues are very concerning. A lot of us thought that this hotel should not be issued for the British as we are not really catered for here. I’d go back if severe changes were made as we did enjoy ourselves and there was some positives to take from it all

Tui should state, that Roma Beach Resort and Spa, caters mainly for Germans. Staff speak to you firstly in German then realise your British. Other than that most of the staff are friendly, and cleaners keep the hotel spotless. Food related poisoning is a issue, lost a day with vomiting and diarrhoea. They don't seem to keep food hot enough or cold enough. The A la Carte evening is a joke, Mexican night consisted of Doritos, a dry chilli con carne, and oily Fajitas served postage sized wraps. The hotel was probably once 5 star, but now I would struggle to give it 3 stars.

as stated a couple of years ago this hotel caters for all not just Germans there were French and Spanish people there this time as well as Turkish previous reviewer get a life this is an international hotel staff great - yes a few struggled with English but they were very helpful the majority spoke English the staff could not do enough for you the pool man was a fine example he was great many thanks to him Yusuf was great a top class hard worker mr manager give him a pay rise the food was good and varied- breakfast is fine fresh cooked eggs etc rooms cleaned to a good standard grounds and pool area well kept beach bar very good drinks- any spirit mixed with a mixer-tastes the same as branded with a mixer beer good entertained mixed music again typical holiday music beach party music very modern in fact great night another great stay

Hotel was lovely. But if British please think twice as was advised on a few occasions it is a German Hotel. Not catered for English. The food was more German than British or Turkish. Staff were lovely and polite. Hotel was clean. Spa to be desired not the best I've been to.

Booked the holiday through Hays Travel inverness via TUI. Flight was from Glasgow to Antalya, who arrived in Glasgow at 1730 as our flight was due to leave in 1940. Looked at departure board no flight details from TUI was told that our flight was now with Free Bird ???? Flight delayed , finally boarded the aircraft at 2200, another short delay, but eventually took off at 2215. Arrived in Antalya at 0700 local time. During our short stay in Glasgow, we paid for the upper lounge 36 pound each , on arrival.in the lounge, the tables were not cleared away and dirty. The food choice was two types of pasta, which were cold or sandwiches. They would have been better off giving us a pot noodle and access to s kettle On arrival at the hotel booking in was fast and efficient. The hotel was lovely and the food was reasonable. However, the staff at the meal services and bars favoured the other nationalities over the very small British contingent. We were ignored by them most of the time while the other had table service for drinks, etc. There were also a number of cats and dogs around the hotel areas they didn't seem.to.pose a threat. However, hygiene comes to mind. The entertainment was mostly Turkish orientated and German music blasted over the disco . Will.never book a holiday through Hays Travel or Tui again and will certainly not visit Turkey again if this is all it has to offer
