Paloma Orenda

We stayed at this hotel in June 2024. We travelled as a family of 7 (4 adults and 3 children - aged 5 and 3 year old twins). The hotel is a fair distance from the airport and we took advantage of the TUI coach transfer - however, whilst the coach was fine, the journey was long, with numerous stops at various hotels. Inevitably we were the last stop so it took nearly 2 hours! With young children and late at night, next time a private transfer would be better. We arrived in the early hours and got checked in with no issues. The next day we woke and were very impressed. The hotel and the grounds are beautiful. Endless palm trees, grassy open areas and plenty of staff on hand to greet you and welcome you. We ate at all the restaurants including the steak house which I think is reasonably priced for the service and quality you receive. The buffet is good, not outstanding but you'll never go hungry. We really enjoyed having lunch at the beach side restaurant- again the staff are always welcoming and friendly. The animation team are great, they remember your names but they aren't pushy to get you involved. All the usual activities are on offer and there is always something for the kids. The kids club and park is great especially at night after dinner. The night entertainment is probably the best we have ever seen. The shows were unique and the kids loved them. The water park is a good place to spend a couple of hours. Try out the vertical slide at the top, that will wake you up if you've had a few drinks the night before!! We went into Side one day and explored the shops. The staff were not pushy at all. It was a nice experience as opposed to some previous experiences elsewhere in Turkey. We have now just re-booked for this year as we struggled to find fault with any of the elements of the hotel. It really is that good. I thoroughly recommend this hotel, the staff really do make the difference and the hotel has a completely relaxed feel, it never feels particularly busy, we always managed to get sunbed even as a larger group.

Amazing stay , great staff , amazing food , rumesysa entertainment staff was so friendly helped us with information and was always there to talk to . Hotel was so clean and staff were always there when you needed them . Drinks where amazing and fresh !

2nd visit and even better this time round and we can't wait to return again. Staff are so good, friendly, approachable and professional (but not overbearing at all!). Kids loved spending some time in Kids club and the discos as well as all the shows. We also had the best time in the water park, on the beach and in the pool. Every meal was delicious including the beach restaurant, sushi restaurant and the main restaurant. The vibe of the whole place is just perfect for a relaxing and fun holiday, thankyou so much

Activities for the whole family especially the young children. Room is super clean and attention to detail is without compromise. Food and night entertainment is limitless, a truly great atmosphere. Wasi Sabi, MIB is awesome. Fantastic service and food. Shame we could only get 1 sitting in 11 days. Booking restaurants a deposit should be required that’s refundable when attending.

Over all a really good holiday as a family of 3, with a 4 year old. Pros: - Definitely a family hotel, which suited us. The splash pool is great and the shades keep the kids out the sun when they splash about. - Entertainment was good in the day. We don’t do a huge amount of it but the team were fun and not too pushy. - The food was great. We are all adventurous eaters and we’re more than happy with the food over 14 days. Lunch at the beach bar was good. - Good drinks. The fresh made mocktails were much better than premade which were so strong and overly sweet. - Wabi Sabi was our favourite a la carte. Our daughter loved the crispy duck. - The Mini Club and Mini Disco was so good. The playground was very good with shades over the equipment. The staff and activities were great. They all made a good effort to learn new English words and we tried Turkish too! - The grounds are impeccably looked after. When we arrived the walls were covered in jasmine flowers and the whole hotel smelled amazing! - There is a bucket and spade ‘amnesty’ by the kids club on the beach so don’t bother wasting space and packing your own. - The dolmus goes from the road outside the hotel and it takes 10 mins to Side to the old town which is worth a visit, especially if it’s cloudy. - A waiter spilled a drink over our table and the hotel offered to clean my dress and also provided a large tin of olive oil as an apology. - Guest relations can be whatsapped and reply very quickly. Cons: - The pillows are very uncomfortable. - We had a connecting door in our room with next door which provided no sound insulation whatsoever. We considered moving room because of if. - The shower door opens outwards and the towel hook is on the hinge side. It makes the whole ‘bathroom area’ very wet as it’s impossible to put a mat outside the door. - Somebody took our giant inflatable unicorn from around the pool. Not the hotel’s fault but our daughter was quite upset! - The evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss. One of the shows (madrigal something) was by far the most surreal and bizarrely amateur thing I have ever seen. Quite a lot of the children were terrified. Most were very good and the variety was also good - we had motorbikes, ice skates and dancing etc.

We stayed in Paloma Orenda with our family due to a last-minute adjustment, as our previous booking at Paloma Finesse had not been confirmed for the first few nights. Despite the unexpected change, we were thoroughly satisfied and grateful to the hotel administration and staff for making our stay so smooth and delightful. We were greeted kindly and taken care of from the moment we arrived. The service at the restaurants, pool bar and beach club was consistently excellent—attentive, courteous and of the highest quality. The food was outstanding, with a diverse selection of delectable meals, as well as superb à la carte and bar alternatives. A special thanks to the wonderful entertainment team, especially Ismail, Sabah and Rumeysa who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day. Their enthusiasm, compassion, and dedication definitely enhanced our holiday. Paloma Orenda has a diverse assortment of activities for all ages, making it an excellent alternative for families. This hotel delivers on every level, whether you're searching for exceptional dining, entertainment, sports, or simply spending quality time with your loved ones. The rooms were quite clean, however little smaller than anticipated. Nevertheless, the entire environment, amenities, and service more than compensated for it. As a recommendation, we'd like to suggest supplying sun hats for the employees, as they work long hours outside and deserve suitable protection. We also noticed a few situations in which management spoke to employees in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner in front of guests. The team works extremely hard to provide a memorable experience for everyone, and we believe they deserve the same degree of respect as the guests. Despite this, the overall experience was great. Paloma Orenda is a lovely location with enormous potential, and we strongly recommend it for families looking for a calm, high-quality, and activity-filled vacation.
