Hotel Beach Star

Stayed at the beach star hotel for 7 nights, Very small and basic hotel but in a beautiful spot, Beach very quiet and the sea was beautiful Rooms were small and needed some updating, but very clean, had to pay €5 a night for the use of air con but definitely worth it, Staff where very friendly and happy to help with anything, food was good, 5 min walk to all local bars and restaurants Some traditional restaurants and bars near the hotel We will definitely be visiting again

My review pertains only to the restaurant. The coffee was the worst. When I complained I was told that they would throw me out. Been to Greece for 30 years. I was never treated this way. Times have changed. People used to be more polite and curtous.

We have returned so many times to this Hotel. The place is very basic and not recommended if you wish to live home from home self catering as the area is small and very basic utilities. But we absolutely love this Gem of a place for clean bedding, towels and housekeeping, but the magical thing about this place is its beautiful location , fantastic large well cleaned pool and sun bed area. Its location is the best its pool is set in the beach it’s stunning. A great low cost family location . Quiet and within walking distance of a range of bars & restaurants and for those wanting the strip a 10 minute walk . Nothing bad about it traditionally Greek!

On arrival our room was small and dated and thought oh no.but by day two.i had fallen in love with the place perfect location.pool beach location fantastic.staff service and friendly atmosphere. Close amenities supermarkets so kind helpful and have all you need.and close bars and restaurants more than you could ask for .food and drinks reasonable prices I can't wait to go back I couldn't imagine staying anywhere else

Great hotel , very basic but clean, owner and staff very friendly, location is great with beach on the doorstep, we have been coming for last 6 yrs and will continue to do so, can't fault it, only 5 mins walk from bars and restaurants on the strip, also do a great breakfast

We have just come back from staying at this hotel and we can honestly say we had a great time. Yes it is basic but it is very clean. We had room 103 on the ground floor which is classed as a 2 bedroom apartment (2 single beds in the main living space and 2 single beds in the bedroom with an additional bathroom), we were very pleasantly surprised the bedroom had an extra bathroom which was very handy. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the maid service is great, they came everyday to clean and empty bins, make the beds etc. Clean towels twice in the week we were there and beds changed once which we think is adequate for a week stay. Overall we had a great time, lovely location right by the sea peaceful by day and night but only 10 mins walk from the main strip but there are lovely bars and restaurants along the way. We ate at the Perros apartments next door for breakfast which was lovely 5 euros for a small breakfast with tea/coffee and toast with jam. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay here it's a fab hotel, we will definitely go back.
