We have never felt it necessary to leave a terrible review for a Premier Inn but there is always a first time and this is it. The positive was that the room was exceptionally clean and fresh but that is where it ends. On arrival the self check in did not function correctly and we had to call a staff member to check us in. The foyer area was grubby and the restaurant very dimly lit and dated. The hotel seemed to be extremely understaffed (we only saw three members) and the one guy was running around attending the reception, serving behind the bar and carrying meals to tables. Brought back memories of John Cleese and Fawlty Towers. Food was extremely average - strange how the same menu can differ between Premier Hotels -and the presentation was poor. Extremely disappointed to the extent that we will never return to this Premier Inn. The next time we return to Birmingham airport and need an overnight stay, the awesome Premier Inn there will suffice - great food, clean surroundings and staff that are friendly and happy to assist you.

Lovely reception area, bright, clean and spacious entrance. Good spacious comfortable seating area in Foyer. A really pleasant comfortable dining area, the best in any Premier Inn I've stated in. Comfortable bedroom with a lovely outlook over the river Severn. For dinner the waitress was so helpful in ensuring we were served in time for the concert we were going to, however the food didn't really make me feel I wanted to dine there again if I could help it which was a shame, as we were by the window overlooking the river and it could have been a pleasant evening there had the food been more tasty. Parking is limited but OK if you get a space.

Another great premier inn. Had the warmest welcome from reception on arrival, and as always the room was clean and comfy. I had dinner here and the staff were so friendly and helpful, food was well priced and tasty and arrived promptly. I am a big fan of premier inns as they never disappoint. The only reason for a 4 not a 5 is I can’t stand shower curtains!

I was here for one night on business. I'll list what I appreciated; The room, bedding and towels were very clean. Security was great (card access for the lifts and the door that accesses the lift). The mattress and pillows were comfy (perfect for my liking) The room was air conditioned so you can choose what's comfortable for you. Tea and coffee was in abundance (with extras at the reception desk if you need anything). My room was very peaceful at the back of the hotel with no noise. I had limited access with staff, but those I did need were extremely helpful and accommodating. The hotel carpark was full, but immediately behind this is a large multistorey car park just a few steps away.
