What a great place! Lizzie and luke gave the warmest welcome and completely looked after us for our entire stay. It’s a beautiful setting - right on the river. The food and drink was top notch and I would whole heartedly recommend this hotel!!

cannot fault in anyway. New owners are very welcoming and professional. Food and service brilliant. So glad this pub has got new owners and doing what they are doing. Would recommend to anyone. Will definitely be back , can’t wait to try the carvery. Roll on the summer 😎

Second time visiting and again very pleased with our experience. Staff are always very welcoming and friendly, cannot do enough to help or be of assistance which is always a massive plus. We had both the meat carvery and veggie wellington options, along with help yourself veggies and sides. Partner said the meat was delicious and tender. My veggie wellington, all homemade was amazing. Pigs in blankets, stuffing, roasties, yorkies, as well as a great selection of veggies including cauliflower and broccoli cheese & the best parsnips ever!! Overall lovely food, great staff - we will be back very soon

Lots of great reviews we went to try the Sunday carvery… Have to say the meat was decent, but garlic potatoes were lukewarm at best, roast potatoes were frozen, very dry, broccoli cheese would have been lovely if the broccoli had been cooked a bit longer. Yorkshire pudding was ok but beans also frozen and the gravy was so thin and runny… not what you would expect! Parsnips also hard and not cooked enough… chefs should do better but they weren’t even busy.. Such a shame the 3 stars were for meat only the rest was poor and gravy unforgivable.

We stayed at the Lenchford Inn the day before and the day of our wedding. We could not have had a more memorable experience, the staff went above and beyond to look after us and get everything we needed. The rooms were beautiful and spacious for us to get ready in, the food was amazing and always hot when it came out. The location was easy to find and the surroundings were beautiful, especially for some of our photos. We would 100% be staying there again and would recommend it to everyone.

What a delightful surprise! The new hosts are very friendly & cannot do enough for you, the service is amazing. The make over looks really impressive & the ambience is very welcoming. The food was really special, 2 clean plates! Totally recommend a visit, we will be back for sure.

Went for a drink only. Sat outside lovely views of the boats etc. Garden Chairs and tables not comfortable to sit at though need upgrading. The view is lovely though. Boats coming and going and a Disco boat went past when we were there enjoying themselves.

We stooped for Sunday lunch. It was a beautiful sunny day and there is a lovely riverfront garden but we were told that only the bar snack menu (camembert or a cold meat platter) was allowed outside. No way we were going indoors so we missed out on Sunday lunch with puds. Camembert was nice but we'd choose somewhere else for a sunny day. Disappointing

The flood was just unfortunate……couldn’t be helped that the river had popped it’s banks. No heating, low stock of drink choices. Freezing cold dining room (perhaps why there were only 3 tables occupied on a Sunday lunchtime). No pie of the day left, special was soup with grilled cheese?? We ordered with our coats still on. Advised that there would be a wait for good (chef on his own) we waited 45 mins for 3 very average meals. Frozen chips were very over cooked and hard. However we ate as much as possible. Ordered dessert, we’ll tried to! Only 2 desserts available from a choice of 6, no double cream, no vanilla or strawberry ice cream- ended up with Christmas pudding with chocolate ice cream. Disgusting. No toilet paper in the ladies, door broken and overall incredibly shabby and neglected. Let’s hope the new owner does something! With no heating and hardly any food or staff it should have been shut today, might have avoided this truly dreadful review.
