Regenta Resort & Spa Mashobra

No doubt it's a beautiful property in a beautiful location. I visited with my family on 4th Feb. We reached arround 10am as we had morning flight from Delhi . Waited for room almost two hours as the hotel checkin time @12 noon . To spend the time we sat in the restaurant, had tea , coffee which hotel made complimentary for us . However, I asked for kadha for my daughter at night as she got a bad cold , for that they charged rs 250/- or so, I forgot the exact amount. The room was quite big & view from the the room was great. Other facilities & amenities were fine . One drawback instead of blower hotel should provide oil heater. Food is good but lil experience.we tried few local dishes. The hotel has spa inside which I find really expensive , though we had taken service & it's fine. The transport contact provided by the hotel was really expensive. From airport to hotel he charged us rs 2000/- . Next day we check out , from hotel we went to Rastrapati Niwas which was very near to hotel and then dropped to Shimla . For this the same person changed us 2500/- . When we inquired about the rate in Shimla , every one said rs 1100 to 1200 roundtrip Shimla to Rastrapati Niwas. On 7th we needed drop from Shimla to Chandigarh, so asked the same person for rate & he said rs 4000/- . He was asking for advance for booking ,we told him we will let you know. On 7th we have taken cab from the hotel we stayed in Shimla & he charged us rs 2500/- to drop Chandigarh. I would request Regenta to take care of this things.

Excellent service,food was very tasty Mr. Ranjan Mr Jiva and his team is is very polite and make our stay very nice. Room cleaning also very neet and clean. View was very nice.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks all regenta staff....
