Well run hotel conveniently located for Shimla attractions. Great views from hotel, friendly attentive service and great food. Taxi fare to/ from Shimla downtown only 400 rupees. You can see Christchurch from the hotel. Buffet dinner offered good range of local food at reasonable price.

We stayed here as our original 7 star Taj was snowed in some 1000ft higher up. TBH it was a disappointment especially as we went down the road which was a mom and pop recycling facility. Our spirits lifted as we went into the hotel as it was modern and clean as were our rooms which were pretty good for standard rooms. Our mood was lifted further as the bar area was good with drink prices being reasonable for an Indian hotel. You could go for the buffet or a la carte dinner menus but the buffet was really good great choice and really tasty food. All the better for me as they cooked me a Jain recipe butter chicken due to my onion allergy. We ate 2 nights there and it was exceptional for a hotel restaurant. Shimla is rather hilly so you have to use taxis to get anywhere but the hotel was pretty close to the attractions. My minor criticisms were that the reception staff and some of the bar staff were inexperienced and were unhelpful but the managers were very good but need to train their staff.

The stay was nice … it wasn’t much crowded . The hotel staff were friendly and helped us whenever needed They also gave us a welcome drink which was their traditional kahwa and it was amazing. The buffet had a variety of food including Indian and western Overall it was a good experience

It is a newly created property with good location near new isbt bus stand. Breakfast was well prepared and tasty and had a lot of options to choose from. Overall a very comfortable stay in Shimla at this property Also very pretty views from the room window

The location is perfect with a complete view of the hills and Mall Road from your room and dinning area. The breakfast and dinner menu was amazing with exquisite Himachali dishes. The staff is very humble and takes care of all your needs. A perfect place for weekend getaways

Welcome Heritage Elysium Resort & Spa in Shimla is a gem! Tucked on the outskirts of town, it’s just a quick 10-minute drive to Mall Road. Getting there is a bit of an adventure—watch out for the steep lane—but trust me, it’s worth it. The suites? Pure luxury! Spacious, tastefully decorated, with a walk-in wardrobe area that screams “vacay goals.” The hotel itself feels straight out of a Victorian dream—well-lit, airy, and full of charm. The food? Oh, it’s divine! Every dish is packed with flavor, portions are generous, and prices are reasonable—what’s not to love? The staff? Polite, attentive, and always ready to help with a smile. Hygiene? Spotless! The spa looks inviting, though I didn’t try it this time. My only gripe? The toiletries could use an upgrade, and a hand shower would’ve been a nice touch. All in all, a fantastic stay with great vibes!
