The property was good, however the road to property was sealed and we had to walk for several kilometres with the luggage to reach the property. It would be nice if there was a disclaimer on this when we booked the room.

Clean and very hygiene. Hotel room was so nice beautiful and good to stay. Have great experience to stay there. Supportive staff as well

Hotel was very nice and had all the facilities like blanket was there and extra room was also there. Washroom was good it had hot water service. The only issue was the stairs and location. Actually this is in chotta shimla so a bit interior and hotel has high stairs so if someone is old so maybe a bit problem for them. But this hotel was really good and also staff were very nice. So i would say u can definitely stay here.

The host is awesome, place has some kind of peace and it is almost 300mtr walking from the mall road

The location is at a distance from mall road but the ambience and services compensate for it. Location is a bit secluded, services are great. Good place to stay.

This property is situated on walking distance from mall road. Room was big and spacious. Service provided by amit was amazing. Cab facility provided by them was comparatively lower than market rates.

Backwoods has a staff that goes out of their way to make your stay comfortable. The hotel room was clean and fresh, but the mornings are quite cold, so if you enjoy having a warm room, you will need to rent a small electric heater for an additional 250 rupees a day. Also, be prepared the electric seems to go out daily at around 8 am. For around 15 - 30 minutes. Other than these couple of struggles, i really love coming to this place!

The rooms were spacious and excellent. The caretaker was very hospital and the food was delicious. The location is near to all the main attractions of shimla.
