The Heritage Club - Tripura Castle

We went for a dinner party and food quality was excellent with extraordinary ambience.... Price of food was quite reasonable..The service of Edaka was exemplary.FB manager was really helpful in accomodating best hospitality.memorable day for all of us.

The title of this review stems from the fact that we were upgraded to a suite late at night, for the cottage we had booked was close to open air restaurant where live music was playing too loud at night. Electric buggies are available to ferry you from reception to rooms. Accommodation for drivers is available on first come first served basis. Not guaranteed.

Loved the whole stay, its worth the price. Great room service. Pavan Pradhan was very friendly and had a great knowledge about whats around in shillong. Overall great hospitality. Totally worth coming again to this place. Independent cottage is amazing

I went with three friends on June 21st,the longest day fof the year for a farewell lunch of our friend and colleague. The food was excellent.. Wonderful ambience.. Awesome service by Pawan Pradhan.. We enjoyed every moment of it.. We will be back with more friends. Kudos to Tripura Castle and Pawan Pradhan

We were really pleased with our stay at the Tripura castle resort as it is a very nice hotel, modern and with all the facilities needed. It is ideally situated for visiting the many sights in Shillong and near by places. The staff are very good, especially the F&B Manager Rahul who were very friendly and helpful. He made sure that we will be satisfied with the Buffett and had food as per our preference. Thanks a lot Rahul for making our stay more remarkable.

We stayed in Tripura Castle with my kids and parents in their cottage rooms. The property is huge and well maintained. It gives you a feeling of being close to nature. The staff is well mannered and courteous. However, for the price you pay, there are several things the property needs to improve upon. 1. We stayed at cottage rooms which were almost 2 floors downhill. They do not provide golf carts to commute. Climbing up the steep slope several times a day was a task. 2. There are no recreation facilities. In these type of heritage properties, there must be some activities organised by the hotel in their premises. It could be some indoor sports or yoga classes or live singing or any other activity to keep the guests engaged and entertained. 3. The breakfast was decent, taste was fine but can be improved by several notches. There was a live counter for omelette everyday but no live counter for vegetarians everyday. Live counter for dosa was there 1 out of 3 days. There were plenty seasonal fruits available but only banana, watermelon and papaya were served on all 3 days, no change there. No fresh juice was available. 4. Spa services can also be made available.

We had great a fun at this property and my family like this place and we had a good foods and drinks special thanks to Mr Augustine Kharmuti for great serv.and it's was full pack on Saturday with live music but still we got welcome with great smile..

The property is quite green and beautiful. However, the service is extremely poor. Despite having booked into the royal suite, the cleaning staff had not cleaned the suite till late afternoon. The food quality, especially the desserts, was bad. Overall, not a satisfactory experience.

Horrible service staffs are busy at their own work rather thn looking after a guest never ever visit this property pathetic customer service
