Ramada Shanghai Pudong International Airport East Station

Convenient located near Shanghai Pudong Airport with free shuttle bus services to and from the airport (about 20 minute ride). Great for families with children as the hotel offers family rooms with various themes (Hello Kitty, Peppa Pig’s, Minions and the like) and a playroom free of charge. Also close to local restaurants, shops and convenience stores. Excellent service overall. Highly recommend for those who travel through Shanghai.

Chose this hotel because it was near to the airport (by direct distance). The actual shuttle bus ride takes about 15 to 20 minutes. We took the 4:30 am shuttle for our departing flight. The hotel is in an industrial area and not near any metro stations. We took the hotel shuttle to Pudong airport, then switch to the Maglev station or metro line 2 to go to downtown Shanghai. Do inform the hotel staff in advance when you want to use the shuttle service, because it doesn't operate round the clock during off-peak time. Service staff are polite and helpful. We arrived at 8:30 am and they quickly cleared 2 rooms for us so we can check in at 10:30 am to take a rest. Check-out was fast too, just left room cards at the lobby and they waved us off with smiling faces. There is a small shopping centre just across the street with many restaurants. One of them serves cheap and delicious food like 小笼包 (dumplings) and 生煎包 (fried buns). Slightly further away is a local supermarket where you can buy snacks as souvenir. If you're a foreigner and wants to contact the hotel, call them to ask for their WeChat number, then you can communicate further (e.g. arrange for airport pick up) via WeChat.

I’m very disappointed to book this hotel. The environment is not clean. I have been bitten by mosquito in his hotel just for one night. They leave many mosquito bites on my legs and on my wife’s arm . There were many mosquitoes in the room when I was awakened around 3 AM during the night . I even personally killed two mosquitoes with my hands. one of them is full of blood. See attached pictures. Those bites were painful after scratching and very irritated. I had reported to the receptionist of the hotel. The manager only wanted to compensate our suffering from the mosquitoes bites and cannot sleep for the night for only about $10.00 (15% of the room charge $69.29). I don’t think this hotel deserved to serve the guests if it cannot keep their room mosquitoes free. I don’t think it deserves my payment for the service we had received and the pain and discomfort we had suffered.

Only the name « Ramada » is international. The room service with an hotel lost in the middle of nowhere. No one international Channel. 100% Chinese hotel with a value of no more than 2 stars

the staff fromnthe drivers , the reception and restaurant were 100% courtesy and that is important for a solo traveler like.me.

Location is very close to Shanghai airport. The hotel has a free shuttle from the airport every one hour. Room is very big with excellent facilities. This hotel is recommended for transit through Shanghai.

Hotel is located 20 minutes away from airport. There are actually two Ramada hotels near the airport so make sure you double check before getting on the shuttle bus. We took the wrong shuttle bus to another Ramada, and have to find a taxi to bring us to the correct one. Problem is that the two hotels is only 15 minutes away from each other and no taxi drivers want to do it. The hotel is kind of old and they are doing renovations when we were there. Lobby, hallway, and the rooms we got are very spacious. One problem we got was the outside traffic noise, and we have to use ear plugs for sleeping. The hotel offers free wifi but we weren’t able to get connected because it ask for ************** cell phone number for login. Breakfast is not included but the price is reasonable giving the variety of food they have. All staff we met were very friendly and helpful. The parking lot seems very spacious if you need to park there. We didn’t use the shuttle bus and I believe it runs on hours and you will need to put in request in advance.

Air conditioning in the room did not work. Even though we selected 制冷and set lower temperature, warm air still came out.
