Grand Hotel Villa Balbi

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the exquisite Grand Hotel Villa Balbi in Sestri Levante. It was an experience I will never forget. From the moment I arrived, I was blown away by the stunning location and unparalleled hospitality this luxurious hotel offered. The hotel is in a magnificent historical villa, surrounded by lush gardens and overlooking the spectacular Ligurian Sea. The breathtaking views of the sea and the picturesque town of Sestri Levante made my stay even more memorable. Upon arrival, I was greeted by friendly and professional staff, attentive to my every need throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth and efficient. My room was delightful, with a plush, comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom with a rain shower. The room was immaculately clean, and the housekeeping staff went above and beyond to ensure it remained so during my stay. Breakfast was a lavish spread of freshly baked pastries, local cheeses, and various fruits and cereals, providing the perfect start to my day. I took advantage of the hotel's beautiful outdoor pool area. The pool area featured comfortable loungers, allowing for relaxing and soaking up the Mediterranean sun. The true highlight of my stay, however, was the exceptional service provided by the Grand Hotel Villa Balbi staff. They were always friendly, courteous, and eager to assist, making me feel at home. Their professionalism and attention to detail were commendable and contributed significantly to my overall experience. My stay at the Grand Hotel Villa Balbi in Sestri Levante was an unforgettable experience that exceeded my expectations. The stunning location, luxurious accommodations, and exceptional service create a magical and memorable getaway. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a luxurious and relaxing escape on the Italian Riviera.

Very nice hotel in a very good location near the beach snd restaurants. Nice decorated villa with a nice swimming pool and nice and well maintained garden. Breakfast is included but could be better. We had liked very much our stay. Staff was very friendly and helpful Recomendad.

A beautiful hotel that exudes Old world Italian charm. We were given a fantastic room with two large windows looking out into the garden towards the pool. This is a very peaceful hotel with a refreshing pool available for guests. Breakfast is taken in the beautiful terrace amongst the trees. Our room was spacious and had a small fridge. The only issue is that when we checked in we weren’t told what time breakfast was available, where the pool was, where we could obtain towels for the pool, etc. It can be a challenge to find someone at the pool bar to serve drinks after lunchtime. However, staff are very approachable and friendly when when asking for information. Towels cost €5 per person per day. You can keep your towel and return at the end of you stay. The beach is across the street but we loved going to the bay to swim.

We stayed in Villa Balbi for 1 week and we LOVED everything about the hotel - the location, amazing stylish beautiful venue, super friendly staff (every person!), tasty breakfasts, lovely dinner with live music, cosy sunbathing and pool area, great pool, absolutely great music choice in the restaurant area, and, once again - wonderful staff! Thank you! Gracie! We will definitely come back to your hotel and suggest to all our friends!

This is the third time we have stayed at Villa Balbi. It is a beautiful hotel and the staff are really exceptional. It is certainly the best hotel in Sestri Levante and probably the best in Liguria. I can definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a wonderful holiday in a hotel with great facilities and a fantastic atmosphere. We will definitely be returning again next year.
