Kombo Beach Resort

A really great hotel, the food is fabulous. Staff very friendly and the boss is always approachable. Also likes to personally take care of the quality of the hotel. Our room 216 was always perfectly cleaned by the cleaning lady Fatima. Great surprise made out of towels every day.

We have been visiting Kombo Beach Resort for the past six months, and every stay has been simply wonderful. The resort offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are incredibly attentive, professional, and genuinely caring. Everyone goes out of their way to ensure guests feel at home. One person who truly made our experience unforgettable is Awa, the housekeeper. Throughout our stays, she consistently went above and beyond. On our final visit, knowing it was our last for the season, Awa surprised us with a beautiful floral arrangement on our bed and a heartfelt message made from petals, wishing us a wonderful final stay and letting us know we would be missed. It was an incredibly touching and emotional gesture that we deeply appreciated. Saying goodbye this time was especially hard. Thanks to Awa and the entire Kombo Beach team, we leave with unforgettable memories and gratitude in our hearts. We are already looking forward to returning next season. Have been a regular visitor to Kombo beach for over twenty years, This is second visit following extensive upgrades to the hotel and rooms and it doesn’t disappoint. The room I was given was pool facing with stunning view room 131. All the staff from reception area to housekeeping do a brilliant job. The whole area of the hotel is well supervised by the hotel general manager Victor who you see several times during the day checking on the smooth running of the hotel. I spent an incredible week at this resort, and my experience was absolutely unforgettable. The memories I created here will stay with me for a lifetime. Although I've travelled the world and stayed in many 5-star hotels, this one, especially considering its location in Africa, has far exceeded all my expectations, though it is not labelled as 5* but it is, indeed, seems like an impressive 5* resort. Tall coconut trees and palm trees create a tropical haven everywhere, offering the perfect serene atmosphere. The well-maintained gardens and tranquil environment provide a perfect escape, making you feel like you’re in a slice of heaven. It’s a place where you can truly relax and enjoy nature’s beauty. Location: The location of Kombo Beach Resort couldn’t be more ideal. Directly located on the beach, it offers stunning views of the ocean and easy access to the sand and surf. Additionally, the resort is perfectly situated, being just about 10 minutes from Senegambia, where you’ll find plenty of activities, shops, and restaurants. Minor Issue: While my overall experience was fantastic, there was a minor issue regarding the professionalism and attitude of one of the female managers. However, I reported the matter to the excellent manager, Emma, and I trust that she addressed the situation promptly. Great Value Had an EXCELLENT stay at resort. Staff professional and friendly. Wifi strong and reliable. Breakfast buffet was enjoyable and tasty 😋 Ocean view room was nice and comfy.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would come back again. Some things could be improved like getting clean towels more regularly, having the traditional food available everyday, and making the beach a little more private but other than that I have no real complaints.
