We had an excellent value stay at these well located hotel for the National Park. The staff were great and the half board dinner was great value and €18 for 3 courses. Only complaint was we got 2 packed lunches and they were expensive and very poor quality...cheap white bread and uninviting fillings... avoid

The hotel is beautifully built with local materials. The rooms are spacious and of a good standard with beautiful bathrooms including rainwater shower over the bath, and small balconies to enjoy views over the natural park. All the staff throughout the hotel were extremely friendly and helpful a real credit to the hotel and in my view their attentive nature turned a very good four star hotel into a five star experience The food in the restaurant was very good especially as we were on a course with food included so I am sure that they were working within a restricted budget and not the normal hotel guest experience. I am a coeliac and my partner needs a fat free diet and they went out of there way to ensure we had good meals every night. The hotel itself is somewhat remote with only a small village close at hand so you would need a car to travel throughout the park and to see Caceres, Trujillo and Plascencia, but a good tranquil base to enjoy the monfrague park

We were here for a weekend just to visit the Monfragüe park. Within 1 or 1.5 hours from Trujillo, Plasencia and Guadalupe. The hotel has a very nice restaurant. Our rate included breakfast and dinner and it was totally worth it. Service was great. The spa was closed because of covid and they were expecting to reopen for Easter. It would have been terrific to have it available after a day of hiking... a shame!

The hotel is in a very nice location especially if you are interested in wildlife or a keen birdwatcher.
The room was a little tired and several things needed repairs.
The shower was in very poor condition.
The meals were very average but the portions were large on the whole they brought back memories of school dinners.

Esta hospedería es una joya situada en las puertas del Parque Nacional de Monfrague. Excelente ubicación, personal muy atento y decoración con elementos naturales muy cuidados. Dispone de una restauración con muy buena relación calidad-precio.

Instalaciones impecables, personal excelente y atención extraordinaria. Estuvimos 5 días y fueron extraordinarios. tanto las habitaciones, cuidadas hasta el mas mínimo detalle, como en un Hotel de 4 estrellas, la limpieza del complejo, la terraza con un magnífico horizonte para las puestas de sol. Y sobre todo el silencio roto por el sonido de los pájaros, las ranas y algún campaneo del cencerro de algún buey de la boyada en la lontanaza. IMPRESIONANTE. Hay que oírlo para creerlo.

Su situación es privilegiada si quieres un entorno en plena naturaleza El hotel muy bien. El restaurante tiene un menú que está fenomenal por 18 € (este es que comimos nosotros). Además de la carta y menú degustación por 37 €. Con una presentación y un servicio profesional y amable. Repetiremos.
