Helt basic hotel. Værelset var dårligt rengjort og meget skidt. Saunaen var også meget slidt.

Maintenance hasn't been a priority. We decided to stroll to the polluted river behind the hotel, but found after exiting the door, we were locked out, and locked into the back seating area (no staff for miles, so we had to jump the wall to get away). The breakfast was less than average (first time I had ever seen a pool of water in scrambled eggs). Arrived at 4pm on Sunday to check in, (all ***********, website and email communication said check in was from 3pm to late) only to find that reception (& the hotel) were closed on Sundays from 1pm to 6pm. When we did check in, we were told the restaurant was now closed, and there was no sauna on Sundays (might have been nice to know this before we booked).

Overall a great experience. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, very good facilities (free parking, gym, swimming pool, sauna). Enjoyable surroundings with direct access to the riverside and nature.
Breakfast selection was quite basic, nothing exceptional.
Points off due to lack of recycling. On the other hand, in-between room cleaning being on-demand only (free of charge) was a plus.

Stayed in the hotel one night. The air quality of the room was just awful. Therefore I can't recommend Sorsanpesä to anyone, especially to those who have problems with breathing or people who might be allergic to something. After the stay there also need to wash your clothes, to get rid of the moldy smell.

Place is quite nice and comfy, although the age of over 50 years is showing in places. However, it's clean and well maintained so no worries on that sense. Slight minus for the fact that there is no air conditioning, at least not in the room where we were, and this year summer is very hot. This is a minor detail as the windows do open properly so you can get some cool air in during the night.

Aamiainen oli runsas ja hyvä. Koiran kanssa oli helppo majoittautua. Jokiympäristö oli kaunis ja rauhallinen.

Menimme hotellille n. klo 13 ja kysyimme olisiko huoneemmen jos valmis, että voisimme vaihtaa vaatteita. Vastaanotto sanoi, että kyllä huone on valmis. Hienoa! Mutta jos otamme sen vastaan ennen virallista sisäänkirjautumisaikaa on kyseessä lisäpalvelu joka maksaa 15€/tunti. Mikä tuossa on lisäpalvelua? Saisimmeko sitten hyvitystä hinnasta jos lähdemme ennen virallista viimeistä uloskirjautumisaikaa ? Tosi outoa, pelkkää rahastusta ! We went to the hotel around 1 pm and asked if our room was ready so we could change clothes. The reception said yes the room is ready. Great! But if we accept it before the official check-in time, it is an additional service that costs €15/hour. What is the additional service? Would we get a refund for the price if we leave before the official last check-out time? Very strange, just funding!
