Tree of Life Resort & Spa Varanasi

This is a serene resort staffed by the most caring group…great to deal with over email…went to great lengths to advise that the resort is not in Varanasi…the resort is off the main road amongst rice paddies and temples…you are welcomed by the resident priest who also conducts the sundown rituals which are also backed up by the local temple…the resort is very well maintained and the suites are beautiful…the shower head is a true rain shower…the staff are exceptional…they have a quiet caring manner and nothing is too much trouble…my wife had a throat infection when we arrived and a local doctor was arranged and medication supplied…also cups of medicated tea delivered to our room…the menu in the dining room is a little restricted but the chef will cook anything for you…he is a gem…we arranged a tour of Varanasi with the resort…the tour was exceptional…our guide and driver just extraordinary…the driver also took us the last day to meet our train he was fabulous…Vishal the receptionist is a serene master …his care for us was superb…the resort far exceeded our expectations…

Hello, my name is GAUTAM MOHANTY. All I can say about my stay at this resort is, “WOW, AWESOME, EXCELLENT.” My family of 3 embarked on a memorable journey from the USA in February 2025 to attend the spiritual gathering of MAHAKUMBH at Prayagraj. We also visited the ancient city of Varanasi and stayed at this resort. The experience was truly enriching. We stayed for two nights at this lovely resort, nestled in the serene outskirts of the town. After checking in, we liked the beauty of the place so much that we wanted to extend our stay. Since our return tickets were already confirmed, we had to bid adieu after two nights. Picture a modern, high-end hotel built in a traditional Indian village. It comes under the “BOUTIQUE HOTEL” category. I never heard that term before. I was surprised to see so many international tourists staying there.. I was just blown away. The staff, including SHIVAM, VIVEK, YUYRAJ, and SONU (from the dining team), were exceptional. Despite their very young age, they were incredibly polite, well-mannered, and always ready to assist, making us feel truly valued and important. Lastly, if you wish to relax your mind and body without being in a hurry, plan to stay there for a week or so. You will thank me later for your wonderful experience.

An oasis in the midst of chaos. A beautiful and relaxing gem near the Varanasi airport. Accommodations are very comfortable, service is excellent and the food is top notch. Tushar provided attentive and helpful service during meals and teatime. We would definitely return and will consider other Tree of Life locations for future travel.

The room is very spacious and the property is well kept. 15 km from Varanasi which could be considered an oasis outside of the city noise. Be prepared for 24 hours chants from nearby temples. 🙌🏾 Onsite restaurant is pretty good and the manage is very friendly and cordial.

Beautiful property!! Just love the aesthetic!! Serene & spiritual vibe, gorgeous decor what one would expect from Kashi. Rooms are big, with lovely artwork & nice patio area, nice washroom & closet. Food is good too. Last but not the least, staff is amazing. Very cooperative & amicable esp Vivek, Fnb Mgr Tushar, Chef Ashish & Chef Anil Maurya ji & Sonu Saroj. Would definitely come back 😊👍🏼

Beautiful resort, quite a way out of town but close to the airport. Big rooms, neatly kept, pool was lovely. High tea and breakfast were included in our stay which was a great bonus. The staff were very friendly/ attentive. The only complaint I would have would be no safe in the room. We had an electronic item stolen from our room in a previous hotel in Kochi and so for the rest of our trip we have used a safe in our room wherever we have traveled. The decor in the hotel is so well done. Beds comfortable. Huge bathroom.
