Top Coimbra - Amazing Stays

This place advertises that it has air-conditioning, but it does not. It may have air-conditioning, but it does not work. We spent two horrible nights there during a heat wave without air-conditioning and the owner refused to refund us or give us another room. Would not suggest staying here since there are many places within the price range and area to stay. Also, If you open the shutters at the window near the sink, the sink is unusable. No place to hang clothing except for a small bar with two hangers. Uncomfortable bed also

The hotel was in a great location close to bars, restaurants etc and not far from the University. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly, and someone was availble on the phone 24 hours a day if needed. The rooms were huge and very comfortable. As I was there during the recent heatwave I was very glad of the air conditioning. I will likely be visting Coimbra again and will not hesitate in staying here, and would recommend it to anyone else coming to Coimbra.
