I don't agree with all the wonderful comments here. We had a "luxury apartment" for three. The design of the rooms is elegant but not convenient ( bath in the middle of the bedroom, glass partition around the toilet) The extra bed was in fact a convertible sofa in the middle of the living room, which made using the sofa impossible and the room as such as well. There is no lift to take the luggage up, the room for breakfast is small and noisy. The cleaning of the room was not done until 7pm. I gave some laundry to do and I had to wait until 10pm to get it back. And the young lady at reception obviously does not care much and does not know what a smile is . It is not worth the price we paid.

I stayed in one of the rooms with terrace and kitchenette. The rooms are well appointed albeit a tad small, but since this is a remodeled old villa, lack of space was already expected as I booked. The beds were confortable and the bathroom was functional, no problems there. Breakfast was buffet, with good variety of breads and biscuits and also a mistery assortment of jams that one of the maids could not identify for me. They tasted nice, though. The main complaint was the noise in the rooms. Central ventilation system is located next to the terraces (see attached photo) making it impossible to use them because of the permanent humming. Also, sleeping with an open window, which is my preferred way of sleeping with good weather, for adequate ventilation, was impossible as the noise never stops and every 30 to 60 seconds the main fan turns on an startles me. Soundproofing between rooms and from the room to the hallway was very poor, one can hear other guests talk as if they are standing next to you. Overall nice rooms but a pity that the noise does not give one the desire to return.

Un hotel muy recomendable y con una relación calidad/precio estupenda. Estaba todo limpísimo, queda cera de muchas atracciones turísticas y además se aparca con facilidad en la calle (gratis). El desayuno cuesta 9 euros por persona, pero está bien. Lo mejor sin duda es el personal de la recepción. Las chicas son muy amables.

La posizione della struttura è a mio avviso ottimale, in quanto in una zona residenziale molto carina appena dopo l'orto botanico ai piedi della università. Tuttavia pensavo che la camera loft fosse migliore, e come grandezza e come confort: la doccia perdeva acqua quindi dopo tre docce il pavimento era praticamente allagato e lo spazio tra cucina tavolino e letto molto molto stretto da muoversi con fatica. Pulizia nella media. Cmq per due notti, tempo sufficiente per vedere Coimbra va bene.

Aucun avis en français ou anglais sur cet hôtel? Côté positif: l'hôtel est bien situé pour visiter le vieux Coimbra. Le design des chambres est réussi...mais il n'est pas très pratique 1: d'avoir la baignoire au milieu de la chambre et les toilettes derrière une paroi de verre même dépoli.2: d'avoir un canapé lit déplié au milieu du salon pour la troisième personne, empêchant ainsi l'usage du canapé et donc du salon! Pas d'ascenseur pour monter les valises, ménage pas fait avant 19h!! Grande difficulté à récupérer le linge donné à laver. Il a fallu attendre 22h et insister. Salle de petit déjeuner petite et bruyante. Et la réceptionniste n'aura pas le prix d'amabilité, le sourire doit être en supplément. Nous sommes très surpris de tous les avis positifs.

Het hotel zit in een verbouwd, oud pand met een leuke entree. De kamers zelf zijn nogal standaard en we vonden het bed niet erg fijn liggen. Ontbijt had genoeg keuze. Het aanwezige personeel was niet heel behulpzaam, behaLve de eigenaar, die zeer klantvriendelijk is. Het hotel ligt op loopafstand van de botanische tuin van de universiteit

Prima hotel op een mooie locatie. Gratis parkeren in de straat van het hotel. Op loopafstand van het centrum. Hotel heeft een dakterras waar je heerlijk even kan uitrusten van een vermoeiende dag. Ontbijt is in de ruimte waar ook de receptie is en de bar. Doet niet heel gezellig aan. Ontbijt is basic, maar prima. Vriendelijke en behulpzaam personeel. Groot minpunt zijn de te harde bedmatrassen. Dat kan ons inzien echt niet. Dat was een van de redenen waarom we niet echt lekker geslapen hebben. Daarom ook een mindere beoordeling.
