Hotel Furstenhof

The first impression was: it looks nice. And then you arrive and the welcome does not match. Everything feels quite cold. Not really cordial. The room: it was spacious, indeed. The views are magnificent, no doubt about that. But also here no welcome. No bottle of water, for instance, nothing personal. The furniture is quite basic, the mattress felt old and used. It was not the feeling that you get the best bed in the world while being away from home. The bathroom was OK and there is enough space in the cupboards. There is no air conditioning and when you want to keep the windows open you notice that your room is located above the lounge, where other guests are having a good time till late... Positive: the cleaning everyday was good and the staff were creative arranging the blankets. The food was mostly excellent, but after a couple of days things started to repeat themselves. And the variety for a Vegetarian is rather limited. But maybe that's a general problem in this region? Also here while serving themselves, the members of the owner-family felt a bit strange. They appeared in no way cordial, they were not committed, they felt distanced and staged. Do they really love their jobs? There were two or three serving staff members that really stood out. Very charming. But otherwise... If you have a special inquiry the family members doing their jobs also at the reception seemed quickly overstrained. They tried several times to get rid of you (!) and postpone answers indefinitely. A strange behaviour at such a place. On the other hand the owner family seems to be able to be more cordial with certain guests, but maybe only with people they already know? While in other touristic regions in the alps you get free access to public transport and cable cars, here you get a "guest card" that gives you very minimalistic discounts. It was a truly strange experience staying at this hotel. Nothing extremely bad, but also nothing really convincing.

In this hotel, you can enjoy the mountains all day long - hike routes (and cable car) are in walking distance and you can enjoy amazing views from the hotel from many spots: the terrace, the pool, the SPA. Dinner (several courses everyday) was included and could not have been better! They also have great Italian wine.

„Willkommen zu Hause“ - ein tolles familiengeführtes Hotel in einer traumhaften Region. Wir kommen immer wieder gern hier her - Abschalten vom Alltag ist hier garantiert.

Wir waren 4 Tage im Fürstenhof, wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen, Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber, Wellness Bereich lädt zum Entspannen ein. Das Essen war hervorragend und sehr abwechslungsreich. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, die Hotelbar lädt zum Verweilen ein und der Barman hatte immer alles bestens unter Kontrolle. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und werden das Hotel Fürstenhof auch gerne weiterempfehlen.

Niente da dire..tutto eccellente..dall'accoglienza all'ambiente.. dal ristorante alla spa (una delle più belle mai viste). Ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo! Verdines è un piccolo paese ma si trova vicinissimo a Scena e Merano, la fermata del bus è proprio di fronte all'hotel (gratuito con la Merancard fornita in hotel). Lo consiglio vivamente!

Meine Tochter ist Abends gegen die Glas Türe vom Spielezimmer geknallt und hatte eine Gehirnerschütterung. Da die Glastüren keine Aufkleber oder irgendeine Kennzeichnung hatte, konnte man diese wirklich nicht erkennen. Und leider hatte sie Pech, da diese einmalig zugezogen war. Wir wollten diese Sicherheitsgefahr der Eigentümerfamilie mitteilen. Der Eigentümer drehte sich nur weg, und teilte uns mit, dass das Kind selber Schuld sei, und es ihn nicht interessiere und er werde die Glas Türe nicht wie in es in Deutschland oder Österreich Pflicht sei, kenntlich machen. Seine Ehefrau stand teilnahmslos daneben, obwohl sie am Vorabend das heulende Kind am Boden aufgelesen hatte. Bei der Abreise war immernoch kein Aufkleber oder Kenntlichmachung an der Tür. Diese Einstellung der Eigentümerfamilie hat mich schockiert. Deshalb erwähne ich noch, dass der elektrische Rolladen zum Balkon nicht ordentlich hochfahrbar war und man den Kopf immer einziehen musste und dass das Spannbettuch des Kinderbett einige Löcher hatte.

Abbiamo passato 4 giorni in questo bellissimo hotel a Verdines (poco sopra Scena). Stanza bella ampia, con una bella vista sulla vallata e sulle montagne circostanti (la zona è molta bella). Bella la piscina interna con piccola vasca idromassaggio e una sauna "famiglia" adatta a tutti (la sauna vera è vietata ai bambini). Possibilità di fare massaggi di vario tipo a pagamento. Colazione a buffet molto ricca e per tutti i gusti (sia all'italiana che non), impossibile restarne delusi. Cena con piatti elaborati e particolari, ma sono stati tutti molto apprezzati. Per i bambini possibilità di ordinare cose semplici a richiesta. Personale gentile e a disposizione (non tutti parlano italiano, ma la maggior parte si). Noi siamo stati molto contenti del nostro soggiorno.

Zu jeder Zeit wird man von einem tollen Team verwöhnt. Tolles Essen auf der Terrasse mit grandiosem Blick auf die Berge. Spa-Bereich und Innenpool sehr schön modernisiert. Und Abends geht es an die Bar, um noch einen Cocktail von Helmut zu genießen!
