My experience at the Crescent Hotel was truly delightful. During my initial week-long stay, I had the pleasure of residing in a superior room. The following week in Scarborough, I opted for a more modern accommodation. Both rooms were exceptionally spacious and comfortable. I was particularly fond of the aesthetic appeal of the first room and the hotel as a whole. A complimentary breakfast was included with my stay. The hotel featured a modest breakfast bar, serving exquisite cuisine expertly prepared by the chefs until 9 p.m. daily. The pub offered daily specials, commencing at 12 p.m. The dinner menu boasted a diverse range of options. A bar, conveniently located on the ground floor, provided a relaxing atmosphere for guests. Additionally, the hotel featured a pub, accessible by passing the receptionist and descending a flight of stairs. I highly recommend visiting the Crescent Hotel, particularly on weekends. You will not be disappointed. Thursday evenings featured live music performances by various musicians. Friday nights were reserved for Open Mic Night, while Saturday evenings showcased the Eastside Soul Club. The musical entertainment was consistently exceptional. The hotel's proximity to the seafront and local attractions was a significant advantage, with both walking and bus options readily available. The staff played a pivotal role in making my stay warm and welcoming. I extend my sincerest gratitude to them for creating a home-away-from-home atmosphere. During my stay, I had the pleasure of meeting new people at The Crescent. Once again, I would like to express my appreciation to Nadine, Leanne, Moe, Estelle, Jess, Jake, Richard, Ashleigh, Rachael, Chris, and Rory. My thanks also extend to the culinary team. Please accept my apologies if I inadvertently omitted anyone. I enjoyed meeting new people while being at The Crescent. We booked this hotel last minute for a three night stay in Scarborough over the Bank Holiday Weekend. Can give nothing but positive feedback about our stay, it really was a fantastic break and the hotel was in a great location in the centre of town but still in a quiet area. We were two couples and opted for the corner rooms which I think are classed as Superior Rooms. Was quite something to have an almost panoramic view of both the lovely gardens towards the side and the view towards the front with the sea in the distance. The rooms were very spacious and clean. Plenty of storage and facilities. I especially liked the king size bed which provided a quality night's sleep. The mattress was very much to my liking. We loved the character of this hotel, all the public areas were so inviting and it really feels like it's a home from home. What sets this place apart is the service from its wonderful staff. All of them really worked hard to ensure you were happy and were made to feel like honoured guests. Ashley was a real pleasure to deal with when we booked this and was equally friendly and accommodating whilst we were staying. Richard was also very friendly and attentive both at reception and at breakfast time. In fact anybody we encountered from the Night Porter to Cleaning Staff were all fantastic. I would be very happy to reccomend the Crescent Hotel and all four of us have said that we would definitely like to return again in the future.

Unfortunately we were there because we were visiting a very sick relative in Scarborough Hospital, so a very fraught situation. The staff at the Hotel could not have been kinder. Special thanks to Ashleigh, on reception, she couldn’t have made things easier for us, length of stay was unknown and she made it very clear that that was one thing we didn’t have to worry about, we would be accommodated! She made sure the restorative G&T was swift in arriving too! Nothing was too much trouble and at such a difficult time, I can’t stress how much this helped.

Only stayed the one night which was a shame as this is a fabulous period hotel, superb room, all in keeping, comfortable bed spotlessly clean, lovely hospitality tray. This had to be one of the best breakfasts I’ve ever had in a hotel, massively impressed, cannot recommend enough.

We held My Dads 80th Birthday meal here for the family on Saturday. From first contact with the hotel right through to the night itself I couldn’t fault the team at the hotel, they were very helpful, friendly and hospitable. The food itself was first class and everybody said how nice it was. We were not rushed and felt comfortable at the hotel. Big Thanks especially to Nadine.
