Romantik Hotel am Brühl

Very nice service very nice location in the middle of old town But the room I’m having a very hard time figuring out why it’s a 4 star . there was no air condition , there was no refrigerator & the daily cleaning was only just done. We did get ventilator from the reception which was very good service But with no spa or swimming facilities also the two cocktails we ordered from the bar was very warm and tasted a lot like premix .

We book this hotel from the reviews, and it really did not disappoint. I was not expecting this place to be so good. The staff were amazing, the food in the restaurant was fine dining but the atmosphere was relaxed. It really was a great stay.

We stayed at the Romantik Hotel am Bruehl for 3 nights during our trip to Germany. The hotel is located within 5 minutes walking distance of Quedlinburg’s historic old town. Check-in was quick and efficient with our room being located on the first floor of the main building. The room was of very decent size with a large comfortable bed and separate seating arrangement. Room furniture is old and rather rustic which is a welcomed difference to the contemporary chain hotels. The bathroom was also of decent size featuring a modern shower cabin with rainfall feature and modern fittings. The room was also very clean. Whist we generally enjoyed our room, the biggest drawback has been the absence of any air-conditioning. During our stay we had outside temperatures in the 25-degree region; albeit a fan being provided and windows opened, this temperature made it already difficult to sleep at night. Rooms also do not feature am ironing board/ iron; however, the hotels provides an ironing service. Breakfast (buffet style) was served in the main dining room featuring a good variety of continental items. We generally enjoyed our breakfast in the morning with staff being very attentive and friendly and also the atmosphere being intimate given the size of the room. We also enjoyed dinner one night at the Weinstuben restaurant. With the weather being nice, food was served in the yard making it a very picturesque affair. Food and service have been on point. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The parking situation was also decent with the car park in front of the hotel coming at an additional charge of EUR10/night.

Extremely polite personel and very cosy surroundings in the lobby by the bar. We will definintely return.

Extremely nice and absolutely romantic hotel. Good parking facilities and close to the middleaged town center. Nice service, everything clean and beautiful. Breakfast also very nice. All staff incredibly polite and service-minded. All our best recommendations. We will be back for another relaxing visit.

We stayed in Quedlinburg two (2) nights at Romantik Hotel am Bruehl. Both the hotel and town exceeded our expectations. The rooms were large for a European hotel with warm colors and quality amenities. It is a pleasant walk to the Center of town. Guest services speaks English, although in town it was 50/50 whether-or-not someone could communicate in English. Our German is very limited but we managed fine. We highly recommend this hotel and destination.

Just a fantastic stay, at a fantastic hotel, together with the family. A great place, great location, fantastic atmosphere, we will come back one day :-), as for sure the place to relax, unwind from the busy every day.

This charming hotel is housed in several old houses converted into a hotel complex with the atmosphere of Quedlinburg. Elegant, understated, refined and cozy. Breakfast is served buffet style and nothing is missing. Dinner es of upper exceptional quality. The chef is Michelin star and the outdoor sitting in a patio, wonderful. Location is just meters from the former outer city walls and in walking distance of all old town points of interest. Parking on premises. Internet not of the highest speed, sometimes slow. We had a suite consisting of bedroom and separate living room of average size and attractive decor. Modern average sized bathroom with very good water pressure at shower. The only problem with this hotel is they have no AC. They promised a movable unit but it turned out being useless, only a humidifier. Night temperatures in the bedroom where 29 C* which made resting difficult and uncomfortable. It is a place to avoid from June to September.

Quedlinburg is a lovely town well worth visiting. The Am Bruehl is a pleasant hotel, with an impressive foyer, courtyard and restaurant but with disappointing rooms. Our room was small, with what some might call ‘shabby-chic’ furniture and an uncomfortable bed. We wished that we had stayed at the Villa Saxer hotel in Goslar and visited Q just for the day. Whilst the reception staff was lovely, the bar and restaurant staff were not particularly attentive - for instance it was quite difficult to get a drink in the lovely courtyard bar area for some reason. And if you want to eat in the restaurant make sure you book. We hadn’t booked and the only time they could offer us was 6pm and so long as we were out by 7.15pm. We thought this would be a lovely hotel but for us it was quite disappointing.
