Best Western Savannah Historic District

Clean but loud at night! It’s kind of like a motel. My parents didn’t sleep well

It was a really nice hotel. I love the location, everything js accesible by walking. Breakfast was good. Overall all was great!

We came to town for a wedding and are pretty familiar with the area, so we knew this would be a great location as there are SO many things within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable. The rooms are not interior rooms, and if you are in a room with a connecting door, things can be noisy, so be warned. There is a white noise machine in the room, but we didn’t use it as we had no difficulties while sleeping. It was pretty quiet. The breakfast that’s included was pretty good. Here is a list of items we saw on at least one of the days-scrambled eggs (probably powdered though), hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, danishes, muffins, bagels, cream cheese, toast, jellies and peanut butter, waffles, grits, biscuits and gravy, French toast sticks, hash browns, bacon, oatmeal, coffee, and tea. Cons-We called the front desk for over two hours attempting to get more towels, but nobody answered. When I went down there, someone did finally come to the front desk, and she immediately gave me what I needed. Also, on the morning of our last day, our key cards would not work when we returned from breakfast. Not sure why they would deactivate them before check out time. The water pressure in the shower is not the best. Overall, it’s a good value, especially due to the location.

Service was excellent, both at the front desk and for morning breakfast. Comfortable clean room with close proximity to the river and attractions. Keys did not work initially and towels were missing, but the front desk was very accommodating.

My stay here was okay. The room could use a little maintenance. Windows were dirty, bathroom door almost broken, lack of weather*****ping on door causing draft, and shower water pressure was extremely weak.

Rooms great, noisy with traffic, best part was the breakfast and the helping hand from staff while eating breakfast. Never been anywhere that was so helpful and made for a great day to start off with

The location is the best thing about this hotel, otherwise it is only a so so mid range hotel.The a/c was noisy humming all night long, the refrigerator was not cooling at all.

We just loved the personnel and staff that helped us check in and check out, especially Tito, the housekeeper that gave us extra bedding when we were cold at night for our little infant. Paragraph he was so kind and considerate, as were the personnel and staff from start to finish. I can’t remember their names, but they were exceptional. This was our second time staying there, and it did not disappoint! We sincerely look forward to staying here again in the future!
