Hotel Parkside

During our stay in mid-May, we were seeking a hotel with a pool to relax and beat the heat. The temperatures were high, and the humidity was noticeable, but the hotel’s pool provided a refreshing escape. We found ourselves returning to the pool multiple times throughout the day and evening. The poolside area was equipped with several benches, allowing us to relax and enjoy the surroundings. As night fell, the pool was beautifully illuminated, creating a serene and inviting atmosphere. This hotel truly enhanced our experience, offering a perfect blend of comfort and relaxation. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a refreshing retreat during their travels.

Great ambience surrounded with plants and trees, good for family and for business. A must stay i must suggest.Staffs are friendly and well trained. For tourists as well they were vibing with the cozy surroundings. Hotel also have swimming pool up to 6 feet i guess.

Had a great time at parkside hotel. The family went for jungle walks everyday and it was most enjoyable. If you enjoy wildlife photography, hikes, and fresh air this is the perfect place. Parkside also took great care of my 80+ old mother who went canoeing and on the jeep safari. Everyone was friendly and the staff were knowledgeable about wildlife and conservation. Highly recommended.

We stayed in Parkside, Sauraha for 2 days from 20/06/23 - 22/06/23 and here are few pros and cons as per our experience: Pros/likes: 1. Free Pick up and drop to bus stop in car. 2. You can make safari bookings/bus bookings from hotel and the prices are very good if you compare with other local vendors. This also includes free pick up and drop for safari and other activities. 3. Hotel Manager Mr Naresh Chaudhary is a very nice guy and he will take care of not only reception but everything which includes food preparations/ pickup/ drop/ safari booking/bus booking etc. At the end of the trip, we named him as 'One Man Army'. 4. Also he helped me to remind about my money that i was about to pay to hotel extra due to some confusion. 5. Hotel rooms are very spacious, gives you a vintage feel, and restaurant food is also very delicious. Cons : 1. they take a lot of time to prepare food, actually we noticed this thing during our whole Nepal trip, but on the other hand they prepare everything from the start and cook fresh food for you. Food portion quantity is average. 2. Few power cuts during the stay but usually the weather is good so it doesn't bother you much. 3. Swimming pool was under construction so couldn't enjoy that part, looks like it will be operational by August 2023. Tip : there's a family lives with an Elephant (pooja) and few other animals at backside of hotel and lets you play with them. Pro tip :Try to stay in room no 601 to have a better view of pooja and mountains. 😉 My star rating for hotel 4.5/5, overall it was a wonderful experience !
