The Imperial Dragon Hotel

We always like to choose somewhere unusual to celebrate our Wedding anniversary. We love anything Oriental, even have a Japanese Garden at home and Chinese furniture, paintings etc., The Imperial Dragon Hotel seemed the perfect place. We booked the feature Chinese room and were not disappointed. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom very big, The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was at the very top of the hotel, and there is no lift, but we were told if we needed help with our luggage it could be arranged. Tea and coffee in the room was welcome as we get up early and like a cup of tea before we start our day. Breakfast was lovely and an adequate choice, once again the staff were efficient friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Sunday night we had a meal with family to celebrate our 31st Wedding anniversary in the attached Chinese restaurant Lokky's. RJ the manager had prepared a table especially for us and provided a complimentary bottle of bubbly. He also allowed me to play my Dragon Pipes to celebrate, playing a tune 'Marries Wedding, and a few others. It went down really well with other guest and the staff. All in all we were very impressed with the Hotel and their wonderful staff.

This was the best travelzoo deal yet, I’ve always found travelzoo deals to be good value for money but quite often the hotels need a bit of a refurb but that can be made up by the location or friendly staff etc…..this hotel is spot on ! Very clean rooms, lovely decoration , very friendly attentive staff, lovely food in the restaurant and sensible prices, gardens are immaculate . Great location for touring Pembrokeshire. I can also recommend the wildlife boat cruise from Tenby and the Bosher ton lily ponds . A big thank you to all the staff at the Imperial Dragon !

My wife and I with our two dogs had a three day stay at the end of April. With dogs you normally expect to have a lower standard room, but that was not the case with the Imperial Dragon, our accommodation was modern, spacious with comfortable beds. Breakfast was cooked to order, with a wide selection of hot or cold food to choose from. The staff were very helpful and polite and it was a pleasure to stay there. Will we be back? Most certainly. Beaches do not allow dogs between 1st May and end September.

Friendly staff, clean comfortable room and delicious food. We stayed for a couple of nights in the Japan room. Dinner was delicious and breakfast was beautifully presented and tasty. We appreciated the lovely little touches like the beautiful towel creations and noted how the attention to detail flowed through out the hotel. We would certainly return again

We were a group of 13 cyclists. From booking this hotel till we departed nothing was to much trouble. The parking the rooms the style the restaurant the breakfast and the service were excellent. I would definitely recommend this hotel and restaurant.

Excellent room with lovely decoration and very comfortable beds. Plenty of room beverages and the heating was easily adjustable. The hotel is spotless and the breakfast/ bar/ restaurant areas are a pleasure to eat and drink in. The staff are friendly and helpful which contributed to our wonderful stay.

From the moment we checked in, everything was fabulous. Every member of the team that we met were so helpful. We were upgraded to the ‘Thai Room’. Although the bed was a normal double size it was very comfortable and we had a wonderful nights sleep. Breakfast was a good choice with excellent service. Plenty of free hotel parking and a 30 minute walk into the centre of Saundersfoot for those able to, although some areas of the lane had no footpath. We definitely plan to return again, as excellent value for money.

We had a lovely 2 night stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious, warm and spotlessly clean. Tea & coffee making facilities in the room. We ate at Lokkys restaurant both nights and the food was really good. The restaurant is attached to the hotel. All the staff provided us a very good service. Everyone was professional, polite and friendly. Thankyou for a lovely break.

Had a real friendly welcome and introduction to the hotel and its facilities on arrival. The room was spacious and comfortable with the biggest bed I have slept in. Everything was clean and tidy and the welcome bottle of wine was very nice. We are at Lokkys restaurant attached to the hotel and had a very delicious meal indeed. Will definitely be back.
