L Hotel Sarigerme

İt was very nice holiday definitely I will come back again

This is our third visit to L after falling in love with the hotel and village just 12 months ago! The hotel itself is just as beautiful as we left it with some changes and new additions but all of which have been a positive impact to the overall hotel. Firstly the breakfast is now self service and offers a range of foods with the option of fresh eggs being made however you chose on top of this! This 100% feels like a better process especially avoiding any food waste from the plates that were offered previously. Everything is well laid out and easy to identify and covered very well to say it’s an ‘outside buffet’. The food outside of breakfast has also improved, (not that it needed to) we would normally eat out most of the time but found ourselves eating at the hotel 8/10 nights! The new chefs are outstanding and the waiting time is incredible for such good food, often the food would come before I’d even realise! Everything is extremely reasonably priced especially for the quality delivered. Ali G and Devran are of course noticeable presences at the hotel bar and go above and beyond in every way to make your day more enjoyable. I have never seen either of these boys without a smile on their face even at their busiest, they go out of their way to make sure they acknowledge every guest and learn their names, something so small but makes the world of difference! They are a major reason we have come back so often and will continue to do so they are a credit to the L hotel and the hospitality industry. The new staff being introduced to the bar are in very good hands and are following suit with the boys perfectly! The bar is always a great atmosphere and most days you’ll find yourself looking at the clock for them to arrive! Both Ali and Dev will make you feel like you’ve been friends with them for years! As long as these boys are doing what they do best we’ll be back! As we were there, a new little boutique opened (luckily it opened on our last day!) this is ran by the very beautiful Aygun who 100% has an eye for fashion! The bits inside are hand picked, the BEST quality and even better prices! I brought the most beautiful little Hermes bag from them and I’ve had nothing but compliments from anyone who’s seen it! This is a great addition to the hotel and both Aygun and Ismail are extremely helpful and happy to be around. If you go to the hotel 100% nip in and say hello as you won’t be disappointed! A couple of other people who sometimes get overlooked in Tripadvisor but also make the holiday just as special Day reception staff- ALWAYS welcomes you with a smile, regardless of if this is check in, walking past the window, going for breakfast it doesn’t matter they both go above and beyond every time and just makes it feel that bit more like home. Both girls will always answer any questions you have and are honestly just a pleasure to be around full stop. Superb room with swim up pool. And children's pool. A Mini bar (fridge) stocked with cold drinks including bottle of waters and chocolate bars. Which are charged to your room. Continental buffett breakfast with scrambled, poached or fried eggs cooked to order. Selection of ham, cheese, fruit and yogurt to choose from. Hot drinks available (coffee, tea or hot chocolate) and choice of juices. Selection of food available hot or cold, also cold drinks can be ordered at the bar either eat in the bar or order for the room. Towels for the pool were supplied. A 5-10 minutes walk to the resort of Sarigerme or similar to the beach. Only downside is it is not as quiet in the pool, as expected. We did have one or two issues with the room, but were sorted, not the fastest, but acceptable. Staff were very friendly and welcoming would recommend, pool may not be suitable for younger children as the depth is the same everywhere in the main pool, but there is a small pool for children.

Just returned from a ten day stay at this hotel. The atmosphere is very laid back and friendly. Best bits - the food in the bar/restaurant is excellent, all fresh cooked by the ladies in the kitchen. The hospitality in the bar lead by Ali, Simon and Dev is great. They are all such funny characters. The rooms are clean and changed every day. I would say that the rooms are a bit style over substance, need more hanging space and much more light in places but the beds are huge and comfortable. Plenty of sunbeds and the pool is excellent, cool, clean and deep enough. We didn't have a swim up room as they only get the sun in the morning. On the whole a lovely hotel if you want a restful holiday.

This was our first time to Sarigerme, and we were delighted that it was only a 25 minute transfer from the airport. The Hotel was clean and very accommodating as we added a third guest to our room which we had informed the hotel about prior to our arrival. They said they could put an extra bed in the upstairs room or we could upgrade to the swim up room which we chose to do, as this had a double and twin beds in. We did not regret it as it made our holiday. All the staff were cheerful, helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the fact it was a small, quiet hotel, but only an 10 minute walk from the main area. The swim up rooms are mostly in the shade by 2pm, however, we never found it a problem to walk across to the sun beds on the opposite side of the pool which stayed in the sun until around 5pm. For us, this was fine as that was more than enough sun for the day and We never had a problem, getting three sunbeds together. The food was very good and priced similarly to places in town. We really enjoyed the fresh fruits and cheeses for breakfast too. Lovely, happy staff in the cafe area. No complaints about the hotel at all although Sarigerme was disappointing for us as we had hoped for a traditional Turkish village, but what we got was a main road full of neon signs and all the shops, selling rip-off shoes, handbags clothing etc. Great if that’s what you wanted, but not for us. The walk to the beach is uninspiring walking down a dirt road with broken pavements and no views, however, the beach was lovely (grey sand) and there were plenty of sun beds available in the L hotel area. I would recommend the 3 hour boat trip organised on the beach, which had lovely swim stops with great caves to swim into and at a reasonable price. The hotel didn’t seem to utilise its space well as both the large rooftops terraces were empty - possibly because it’s later in the season? All the rooms seemed to be occupied though at all times so I’m not sure why? I would love to go to this hotel again if we could move it to a different location!! Recommend going on the local minibus to Dalyan which is really beautiful and felt like a much more classy area with a lot more to see and do. Please move the L hotel here for the perfect holiday!

We had a great stay at L Hotel. Lovely balcony room and close to the pool. Pool was large and big enough to swim lengths, and plenty of sunbeds by the pool. Restaurant had a varied menu for lunch and dinner and breakfast was included in the morning with a range of food to choose from. Friendly bar staff and especially Simon who made a difference by ensuring to interact with guests. L Hotel is a short walk down to the beach which was perfect for snorkelling. Would recommend a hire car to ensure you can travel to places outside Sarigerme, free parking outside the hotel.
