Stayed for a week in July. Rooms are cleaned daily, very diligently. Continental breakfast is very good, including soft and hard cheeses, but sausages and scrambled eggs are so-so. Separate entrance to the beach, which is locked at night. Wi-Fi is tolerable, but not very fast and at times reaches the limit of simultaneous connections. Also, the last room on the floor can get weak signal and nothing at all on the balcony. Kitchenette is stocked, but barely, we had two rooms and had to combine stuff from both. There is no fan exhaust in the bathroom, nor in the kitchenette. As is common in Portugal, there is no air conditioner. We had to sleep with open balcony door. At night, the sound of breaking waves is very loud even when the ocean is peaceful, as are cackling sounds of cagarro birds right after sunset. Room furniture was mostly functional - 3 wood chairs, 3 plastic chairs on the balcony, but the long chairs were partly broken. There is enough room to store suitcases and shoes and hang your clothes. Showerhead is primitive, sometimes difficult to fix in the needed direction. All lamps on bed tables are connected to switchable power outlets. Beds and mattresses are pretty good, all twins. Personnel is quite friendly, but it seems not everyone can understand English. In general, location is the best part of it, fairly large rooms, and the breakfast service.
