We are returning guests - we returned after 3 days, forfeiting 2 nights of our stay at Ocean Flower Island and incurring additional cost of train tickets. This shows how much we enjoyed Shanhaitian hotel, we missed it after we left and we didn't have enough of it.
The hotel may not be perfect but the hospitality of majority of the staff we came across deserves 200 our of 100 marks - they really went above and beyond to attend to our needs to make us feel comfortable. Special thanks to manager Ariel Huang, front desk Karina and butler Peanut for making our stay so memorable and relaxing. Also special mention to 2 male managers in suits who managed our breakfast orders, and a trusty bespectacled manager at the concierge - sorry I didn't have the opportunity to catch their names. Again, thanks to the Head Chef of the Reef where we enjoyed very delicious steak, cod fish and lobster at the semi-buffet dinner, and special order of seafood porridge at breakfast. Lastly, special thanks to the lady service staff at breakfast who prepared apples for my mum because she remembered that my mum loves them.
We gave some feedback to the hotel and they always took us seriously and attended to our feedback promptly. We could already see positive changes the next day after we gave our feedback. Thanks for making us feel pampered and feel at home. We look forward to be back again some day!
