North Santorini - A Luxury Spa Hotel

We just returned from a week at North Santorini and it was incredible. The staff couldn’t do enough for us, no request was too much to ask The hotel was gorgeous, super modern, clean and quiet, perfect for being away from the hustle and bustle of Fira or Oia but close enough to get there in a taxi. A taxi to Fira was €20 and to Oia was €45. We booked the panoramic suite with a hot tub, which also had a lovely area to sunbathe. Housekeeping were great, by the time we gone down to breakfast our room had already been cleaned, if we ever needed any debris removing from our hot tub housekeeping were more than happy to do this. All of the staff on the front desk were fantastic, from giving us a tour of the hotel when we checked in, mapping out all of the best spots on the island, booking restaurant reservations for us to ordering taxis, nothing was ever too much to ask. The use of WhatsApp to contact reception was great All of the restaurant staff were amazing, the breakfast staff were so attentive and polite, offering us many options and happy to make alternatives that weren’t listed on the menu. We also had lunch a couple of days which was also amazing, all the food tasted so fresh and was delicious! We dined at the Akau Restaurant at the infinity pool table one night, this was €100pp minimum spend and the food was incredible, we had our own personal waiter attending to us who was so friendly and they were more than happy to take any pictures for us, provide recommendations (the churros for dessert are a must!), and get us anything we needed, and the pictures of the views speak for themselves. The staff ensure that the area is kept completely private for you to enjoy as a couple, and none of the other tables in that are are occupied. The waiters were more than happy to take pictures for us, and were super friendly Overall, was an amazing experience where we would definitely recommend and would return in a heartbeat! Amazing stay at North Santorini Luxury Hotel! Our Deluxe Room with private pool was modern, spotless, and had stunning views—every sunset was unforgettable. The location is perfect, just 10 minutes to anywhere on the island. The Restaurant/Bar served the best food and cocktails. Huge thanks to Georgia and Thomas at the front desk for their warm welcome and great local tips, and to Umza in Food Service for looking after us so well. Breakfast was great to wake up to. Highly recommend!

We had a memorable 10-night stay at North Santorini Luxury Spa Hotel, with many positives and a few drawbacks that are worth mentioning. The highlights were definitely the exceptional staff and breathtaking views. Special thanks to the restaurant and bar team—Hamza, Kimonas, Eleni, Nefeli, Rania, and both Anastasises—who made our stay so warm and welcoming. Hamza was especially kind, and I’ll miss practicing French with him. Manager Anastasis greeted us every day with a cheerful “Kalimera” or “Kalispera,” and our first night felt like a scene from White Lotus thanks to their hospitality. Housekeeping and pool cleaning staff were also very friendly and pleasant to interact with. The Premium Suite was spacious and beautifully designed with amazing views. However, the private pool—as well as the spa and main pools—were too cold to use, which was unfortunate given the season. We understood the weather could impact pool cleanliness, but had to request cleaning multiple times. Upon arrival, debris (including a bottle cap) was floating in our pool, and even after we were told it had been cleaned, it wasn’t. It was only after sending photos that it was properly addressed. We also experienced some inconsistencies with reception. Initially, the team was attentive, but toward the end of our stay, communication and follow-through declined. For example, our pool bed was blown away by strong winds on the 25th. We informed reception and asked for it to be returned, but it never was—we ended up moving it back ourselves. We were also offered complimentary daily spa access due to the cold pool, which we appreciated. However, when we tried to book a slot on the 25th, we were told the spa was full. Reception offered a 30-minute slot by rescheduling another couple, which we declined out of courtesy. We would’ve appreciated more proactive communication so we could have planned better. A serious concern arose on the 24th when a drone was flown over our suite. We were told it belonged to an influencer staying at the hotel. We saw the guests operating it near the main pool and immediately reported it. The evening receptionist confirmed this violated hotel policy and noted it, advising us to speak to the manager the next morning, which we did. However, we’re unsure what actions were taken. Privacy was a major reason we chose this hotel, and this incident was quite unsettling—we now feel the need to monitor online content to ensure we weren’t filmed. Despite these issues, the overall warmth, friendliness, and professionalism of most of the staff really stood out. With some improvements—particularly in communication, pool maintenance, and privacy enforcement—this property could truly offer a five-star luxury experience. We’d definitely consider staying again, but will weigh the pros and cons and carefully choose the season to ensure we can fully enjoy all amenities.

We came to the hotel, three friends, From the first moment until the last moment, the service was at the highest level possible. The hotel is stunning, clean, aesthetic, smells good, and full of everything needed for an amazing vacation. The breakfast was excellent and the service during it was excellent. The reception staff - wow! We couldn't have asked for better. They took care of everything we needed and beyond. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We'll be back next year

The hotel organised transfers, and were lovely when we checked in giving us a guided tour of the hotel with a homemade lemonade. They provided lots of recommendations for hotels and excursions, and also annotated a map which was really helpful. They also very kindly accommodated a slightly later check out (subject to availability) as our flight back wasn’t until later on in the evening. We notified the hotel that it was our ‘mini-moon’ before our visit and they kindly emailed over some additional paid for extras you could do but these were quite expensive. It was admittedly a little disappointing that a gesture hadn’t been made (having come from a London hotel for 3 nights where they went above and beyond). My husband and I stayed in a deluxe suite with private pool. The pool wasn’t heated (perhaps an extra cost as it seemed to have the function) and it was far too cold to get in the pool (neither of us went in once over 5 days). One of the optional extras was a floating pool breakfast, and it’s lucky we didn’t pay the premium for it as there was no way we could have got into the pool. Although Santorini was warm (late 20 degrees when we went), the high up nature of the resort means there is a lot of wind and the suite we were in didn’t get the sun on the pool/patio area until early afternoon which we were not aware of (or we would have 100% queried pool heating before booking/booked a different room). The room itself, and the views, were perfect but I would ask about the sun time on the terrace/pool at the time of year you visit. Everything was completely spotless, and although we had a plumbing issue with the shower not draining it was fixed almost immediately after contacting the reception. I would absolutely recommend the suites based on the rooms/outside space - we just perhaps got unlucky with the plot in terms of sun time. Breakfast was good for saying it was included in the price, and you could have multiple servings. The staff are lovely and look after you well, and the views at the breakfast area are very serene. It was nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of busier parts of Santorini, but a car/quad is 100% recommended as the cheapest way to get around the island so you can visit other areas such as Oia and Fira. The local town to the hotel, Pygros, was about a 15 minute walk and had some lovely restaurants. We didn’t eat in the restaurant, but we did have a drink there one night and although very expensive for cocktails it is a lovely setting. We didn’t visit the spa, but we did get shown around and it looked lovely! Overall a lovely stay, and I would recommend for a 4/5 night trip (any longer you might find yourself short of things to do, but longer would be absolutely fine for those who like to stay at the hotel with a book and sunbathe) but query the sun on the terrace and heated pool.

Very attentive services. The hotel is very beautiful and the room is very modern and clean and extremely comfortable. Also the location is in Pyrgos and is not as noise or busy as in Fira or Oia. Very peaceful. Breakfast is very tasty and fresh. The environment is so comfortable and you can spend a good day in the hotel by itself without going out. 10 out of 10!
