Aegean Plaza Hotel

Our first visit to Santorini, stayed at the resort for 10 days Very welcoming, very clean, lovely staff Located 20 mins from the airport On site snack bar. We stayed on B&B basis, breakfast was good Very close to the beach with lots of restaurants within walking distance

This was such a lovely hotel. We were half board and ate in on 4 occasions and were not disappointed. On 2 of the four nights, they offered a menu choice as they didn’t have enough to warrant a buffet style. The food was amazing as were the breakfasts. The hotel is spotless and the rooms were lovely with everything you needed. Bed and pillows were comfy and I slept well which is unusual for me. A great plus. The staff were so polite and nothing was too much trouble and they work hard to make sure you enjoy your time there. Just a five minute walk to the sea front with loads of great restaurants, bars and shops and a supermarket opposite with an ATM. I rarely go back to the same place as it is a big world but I would go back here. After going round the island exploring, Kamari and this hotel make a good base. Loved every second of my stay.

Loved our stay here. We booked through TUi who only offer a Junior Suite. We contacted the hotel directly and requested the Family Suite as our children are a little older and are a little old for sofa beds. The hotel did accommodate us but at an additional charge (which was fine, as we would have paid the extra if the room was offered from TUI). The thing we noticed was the cleanliness. The staff were always cleaning something, and the whole place was spotless. Bedding and towels changed every day. Towels provided if using the pool area. Breakfast was excellent, so much choice and well presented. We saw some people have lunch, and what they ordered looked really nice too. They have an additional buffet for evening meals if you didn't want to venture out. We didn't use this service, but had a look round and that looked nice as well. You're literally 2 minutes to the beach, and the shop opposite the back gate was really good. We avoided the shop opposite the front entrance, as the staff openly smoked in there, and the whole shop stank of cigarette smoke. All the staff were great and we're really helpful. They know all about the area and helped us on where to catch the buses and how to get to where we wanted to on the island. If/when we go back to Santorini, we will definitely stay here again. At the end of a holiday, you usually look forward to going home (even if you have had a great time), but we can honestly say that we didn't want to go home and could have stayed longer. A fabulous stay at this hotel. It was spotlessly clean and all of the staff friendly, attentive and welcoming. Staff worked tirelessly to maintain the high standards. The pool areas were beautiful and well maintained. Rooms a good size and very comfortable beds. We had a problem with the mini fridge in our room, within 3 minutes of reporting someone was there to look and within 10 minutes we had a new fridge installed! Fantastic service. Breakfast was excellent with a great selection of hot and cold, fruit, continental, pastries. I would highly recommend it.

The hotel is very good, the pool is very clean, we received a prosecco in the room as a gift. Things to consider: the hair dryer is very old, does not dry, there is no do not disturb sign to put on the door, we asked to check out at 12 pm and it was not allowed. Good things: the breakfast is very good, there is air conditioning in the room.

Lovely Hotel in a fab location! Room perfect size for me,my husband and teen age daughter. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Hotel is in a fab location, couple of minutes from the beach front, everything is within walking distance in Kamari which was an added bonus. There are 3 pools at the hotel they do get abit busy but doesn’t everywhere in July. Supermarket directly across the road very handy. We hired a car from the place opposite to get around the island. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
