Horrible experience the lady manager was very aggressive all the time she should be in a fish market such a bad and rude person to be in front of a hotel Never ever again I would go there I saw lot of bad reviews about her no need to say more Beware 🤮🤢

We had 3 nights bed and breakfast at this hotel part of our island hopping adventure. Check in is from 2pm and was given room 132. Very basic room no view very dark. The room had a free safe and a fridge (nothing supplied in it) no bottled water and no tea/coffee facilities. Bathroom could do with an update shower was awful. Toiletries supplied. Hotel and room spotlessly clean. Aircon was excellent!! Breakfast was again very basic/poor, coffee awful (when machine worked) The setting to eat was beautiful. Roland on reception was friendly and helpful. Other staff seemed aloof. Pool was lovely with amazing views out to sea and the resort. Pool bar was very good but didn’t stay open in the evening so nothing was going on in the evening at the hotel. Noise echoed around the corridors and hallways at night so take earplugs. This hotel is not ideal for people with walking difficulties as it is situated at the top of a very steep hill (hence the fabulous views) and there’s loads of stairs taking you up and down to rooms, pool and reception, Location is about 5 min walk to beach and 10 mins into Kamari centre which has everything you could possibly need. Sadly we wouldn’t recommend but definitely love Santorini and the resort of Kamari.

The epavlis is on a hill meaning amazing views but a bit of effort to get there, definitely not for anyone with mobility issues, however fine for the able. Rooms basic but clean, shower needs updating and a kettle would have been appreciated however wasn’t an issue. Ronaldo was lovely and friendly , owner not as much so but we had read this so was aware. Breakfast could have been better Pool area was nice bar could have opened earlier Kamari itself is beautiful and the perfect paradise if you want to avoid the busy main towns Would def recommend

A lovely hotel in a good position. Excellent views from Pool area. Room was basic but had everything we needed. Hotel is at top of a hill so anyone with mobility issues should avoid but the views make walking the hill worthwhile. Not obvious which hotel it is and could do with bigger and more signs. Roland was very approachable and knowledgeable about the area. The manager couldn't find our reservation when we first arrived but sorted us quickly and efficiently. Breakfast was a bit disappointing - plenty of choice but hot items were never hot and coffee machine not great. We would definitely choose this hotel again but would go out more for breakfast.

The hotel was nice and clean. The only negative thing about the hotel was the bathroom. The rooms don’t have a shower so you will have to shower in the bathtub. Everything gets wet in the process. But overall it’s a nice hotel with a good view on the sea

We stayed at the Epavlis Hotel in October 2023 - the last stop island hopping around Greece. Positives first - Kamari is a beautiful resort. Even at the end of season, there were still some wonderful restaurants (recommend Dana's Family Taverna), the beach is gorgeous and I think it is the perfect place to stay when visiting Santorini. The breakfast was great. Big selection of hot and cold food, coffee was nice and Greek yoghurt was very yummy. Hotel is less than a 5 min walk from the beach. Some people were complaining about the walk as it is on a steep hill, however I thought that this was a perfect location - just might be a problem if you have mobility issues. There is a trail behind the hotel, up a large hill to Ancient Thira. Really recommend doing this hike if you have time during your holiday. Views from hotel pool are stunning. Pool area very nice to relax. Negatives - I had stayed at this hotel 9 years ago with my family and I don't think it had had a lick of paint since. There was also some spots of mould on our bathroom ceiling. We had paid for a double room but were given a very large family room on arrival. Although this room was more expensive than what we paid, it was rather dark, below the indoor pool and eerily big for the two of us. Would have preferred to have the double room we had paid for in the main hotel complex. We did enquire about this but were told the room was more expensive so "it will be fine". The lady on reception (owner?) is quite rude. Don't know if this is because it was near the end of the season but she wasn't very helpful. Also this hotel is not a spa hotel. There is a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and a couple of treatment rooms inside however they were "out of bounds " (as some of the guests were told during our stay). All the facilities were turned off and not usable. Would have been a shame if you had booked it thinking it was a spa hotel and then you found out you couldn't use any of the facilities. On a whole, still really enjoyed our stay. Kamari is a great location for your holiday in Santorini (great bus connections to Oia and Thira), however the hotel could definitely do with some renovations and a warmer reception.
