Akis Hotel

We're currently on the last few days of our Kamari holiday and chose to stay at these lovely apartments. I'm pretty sure we were the only people staying here and whilst it's early season I'm not sure why it isn't busier at what seems a good price for the area. We generally go for the budget option but opted for a spacious Junior Suite which looked freshly decorated, was very spacious and had quality fittings and a very comfy bed. The bathroom facilities are also very spacious and modern with a rainfall shower and hand hrld option, the whole apartment is immaculately clean. There's a 24 hour supermarket next door and a fantastic bakery just over the road. The walk to the beach takes less than 5 minutes. The owners are very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall we gad a fantastic experience here and would highly recommend it and will stay at the Akis if we visit Santorini again.

The hotel is held by an extremely friendly family. Mr. Atis and Aurelio made our stay a great time with their competence and knowledge of the place. The rooms are simple but clean and full optioned. 150 mt from the beaches and in the centre of the best area in Santorini: Kamari. The Bakery is just out of the hotel for the most incredible breakfast of all types. You will make your stay an unforgettable one. Promise! Roberta, Angela, Roberta jr. and Paola.

We were in this hotel with family last summer.. And guys i have to say it is the best deal in Santorini ever (at least for us) !!! First thing first , the staff - very nice, kind and friendly people who help you with anything you need (if you lost swimsuit because of the wind or you need some ideas for trip or you just want a glass of good wine :)) And the location is really cool... The hotel is close to the beach, pool bar, bakery (you have to try it), great restaurants, diving school and a bus stop... :) The rooms are clean and really comfortable... I think that Kamari is the best place for you if you want to swim in the sea everyday :) This hotel is maybe not luxury but it has a heart and soul. Thank you hotel Akis for perfect summer experience! :)

Albergo carino, evidentemente di recente ristrutturazione (facile notarlo ad esempio dai bagni in muratura mosaicati) a conduzione familiare. Le camere sono carine e semplici, prive di bidet in bagno. Gli unici punti da rivedere sono, a mio avviso: 1) la chiarezza nelle tempistiche di cambio asciugamani e lenzuola che, a detta del ragazzo della reception, dovevano essere sostituiti ogni due giorni, cosa invece non accaduta; le lenzuola che abbiamo trovato nel letto avevano anche dei granelli di sabbia che abbiamo supposto essere finiti nel letto perché presenti sul copriletto, prontamente rimosso, data anche la stagione (cosa che comunque non dovrebbe succedere); 2) la pulizia delle camere dovrebbe essere un po' più approfondita e non limitata soltanto al passaggio dello straccio per terra in bagno, visto che spesso notavamo residui di uso dentro e fuori al lavabo non rimossi; 3) i proprietari dovrebbero maggiormente sensibilizzare i clienti alle regole da rispettare in hotel poiché a volte, quando alcuni tornavano a tarda notte, facevano chiasso urlando nei corridoi, sbattendo porte o spostando mobili, svegliando così le persone che già stavano riposando. I proprietari sono stati comunque gentili. A voi la scelta...

Albergo semplice e spartano, posizione eccellente a due passi dal mare, camere pulite e comode. Il proprietario davvero eccezionale, gentilissimo e sempre pronto a consigliare per le visite turistiche in zona e per indirizzare il cliente in base alle esigenze. Ci siamo trovati benissimo e consigliamo la location a tutti coloro che cercano un hotel con un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Ringraziamo il proprietario per aver avuto sempre un sorriso e una parola amichevole per tutto il nostro soggiorno.

Albergo a conduzione familiare dotata di stanze semplici ma con tutto il necessario,(compreso bollitore,cassaforte , aria condizionata e frigorifero con cella gelo), per avere un soggiorno piacevole e confortevole...Non spaventatevi della vicinanza alla strada, io avevo la stanza sopra l'entrata che dava sulla strada e ho dormito alla grande...vetri insonorizzati top. L'albergo è vicino a tutte le comodità supermarket24/24h, fermata bus per THIRA a 10mt,forno con prelibatezze fresche tutti i gg a 20mt...spiaggia, la parte più bella di Kamari, a 150 mt... Bagni recentemente rustrutturati e comodi...Gentilezza di Akis e della moglie insuperabile..proattivita del personale super...pulizia al top..cambio asciugaman e pulizia totalei ogni 2 gg. Letti riassestati giornalmente... Valore aggiunto il gattone sornione che vi riceve al vostro arrivo. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Grazie Akis*****
