9 Muses Santorini Resort

Très bon hôtel, bien placé. Beaucoup de couple. Hôtel et destination romantique. Quelques familles tout de même. Personnel excellent!!

Nice hotel with great staff, however I would say expect more from a hotel that claims to be 5 stars. I would stay it's more of a 3-4 start resort. The breakfast was okay, however apart from the cooked food (eggs, sausages, bacon etc) the rest of the food is not covered and the fruit, yogurt, meat and cheeses had loads of flies on it which is extremely off putting and meant I couldn't eat it. There was no kettle or tea/coffee making facilities in the room which was also very disappointing. have never stayed at a hotel that didn't have a kettle in the room even cheap hostels l've stayed in have had a kettle). I would also expect a 5 star hotel to give a fresh bottle of water everyday which they did not. The food on offer for lunch and dinner was always very nice, although the menu could do with a few more different options. Nice clean pools and the cleaners of the room were brilliant and very friendly. The spa was very disappointing, we paid €80 for what was suppose to be an hour massage (which I could only describe as torture) but was only 40 minutes. The lady doing the massage was quite aggressive and I was trying not to flinch as it was so painful. At one point I couldn’t help but flinch and she smacked my leg and said “relax” which was impossible due to the pain. I would visit again, however I think the hotel should not be advertised as 5 star, as my high expectations for this rating were not met.

This hotel from start to finish was flawless, when we arrived we were blown away by the layout of the hotel, we were greeted by an amazing man at reception called Andreas who we soon became great friends with, we made an effort to visit him everynight as he was the loveliest man we have ever met. We were greeted with a welcome drink upon arrival and then shown to our room. The location of the hotel can be difficult to reach certain areas on the island, however the public transport and taxis are reliable. Everyday we lay by the pool and the staff were amazing. The only bad point of the stay was at one point our air conditioning stopped working, but after raising the issue to the reception we were taken up to our new room which was lovely. We must give a special mention to the nightshift worker at reception andreas, I have never had such an amazing experience with any member of staff in all my 30 years of travelling abroad. He was absolutely unbelievable and he was very attentive and made sure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable! We will definitely be back next year. Best stay ever!

This hotel is a 3* and is being sold as 5*. The room we stayed in other than the bed, everything else was very below standard, shower not fixed and dangerous, rusty old bathroom room suite. I travelled with my daughter and we were put on the ground floor near to the main entrance which was kept open no security, so didn’t feel safe and complained but could not be moved until day 4 but was too late, so put up with it. Breakfast was absolutely disgusting, if they class themselves as 5* they should have someone making pancakes, smoothies, crepes etc, none of this - all food very below standard and better in the restaurants close by. The pool area makes this hotel and that is it, which is shown in the pictures. Also the female staff serving need to have their hair tied back, especially dealing/preparing the food. They struggle to understand English which is poor too. The age of the staff too is very young and they seem exhausted, by the way the toilet paper I asked for I never got. The hotel excursions used with the hotel were very good to Oia and Fira, they were provided by an outside company. The hotel is close to the beach, but no sunbeds on the beach provided like other 4*/5* hotels in the area, will return to Santorini, but definitely not to this hotel. Though we made the most of our holiday and had an excellent time in Santorini. 9 Muses you need to step up or you need your star rating changed to 3*/4*c for next year’s tourists.

The service throughout our stay was phenomenal, all of the staff were very kind and accommodating from the managers to the cleaning staff. We stayed for a week and country have enjoyed ourselves any more than we did. The resort is beautiful with plenty of facilities, we could not recommend it enough. Added bonus of it being a 5 minute walk from perrisa black sand beach.

Hotel is clean and tidy rooms are adequate. No tea or coffee making facilities in rooms. Daily room cleaning is a bit unpredictable. As we normally get left with no towels or no toilet paper etc. The pool is very nice and breakfast is generally good. The evenings are lacking in atmosphere, as no music or entertainment. Staff in general are very pleasant. 1/2 mile walk to lots of bars , and restaurants.

We visited the 9 Muses in order to attend a family wedding on the island. We found the accommodation excellent. Clean and spacious. The hotel as a whole was quiet and easy going. The staff were superb, efficient and friendly. All in all the total experience filled the bill for a memorable week in the sun.

Everyone in the staff has been very nice and the service excellent! The room was great, and we ordered most of our meals from room service. Everything we had, breakfast, club sandwiches, burger, salad, milk shakes, tasted excellent and were always delivered with a smile. The cleaning was efficient and also delivered with a smile. The whole hotel area is a blooming oasis in the middle of a hot and dry landscape. I can recommend, and would like to return.
