Meltemi Village Hotel

This was our first time visiting Santorini, but was of the nicest stays we’ve had in Greece. To start with the room was great; comfortable, clean, great aircon and quaint but classic decor. Bathroom was fine and water was a good temp. Fridge in the room worked great. Really comfortable bed. Did however have lots of cats and kittens but they were cute and friendly and we did not mind. Location was great, 5-10 minute walk to the beach, bus stop and several bars and restaurants right outside. The breakfast spread here was absolutely wonderful! The food was well prepared and they had a toastie press which was a nice bonus. The bar staff here were absolutely wonderful and really did make the holiday. Andre could not have been more attentive and Miltos was one of the friendliest people we’ve ever met. The pool was great and clean and refreshing but can be crowded for loungers at times. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. Meltemi Village is a gem in PerissaZ

Meltemi exceeded our expectations, we had such a peaceful week there. We stayed in one of the Excelsior Suites with a private pool (which also doubled as a whirlpool), I think it was suite 82 or 182. There were two other pools that we could also use, the main pool for all guests and another pool for Excelsior guests. Of these two, the main pool was better (ambiance, the pool itself, the scenery). We loved the option to order food and drinks to our location using a QR code. We could get it delivered to our suite and this option was also available at the pool. The food we ordered was excellent for lunches/snacks and fair prices for what we got(club sandwiches/ham and cheese sandwiches/cheeseburgers/fries). I think all the cocktails were £10 and we both tried one, they were served in plastic cups but they were delicious! I met a very peckish grey cat by the main pool and shared some treats with them. We also saw a mother cat and her kittens who appear to live there, they mainly come out in the evening around the main pool. Our private pool was lovely, it is not heated but this is forgiven when the temperatures rise. It's not deep, I think the deepest is maybe 4 feet. The first part of the pool has a step down where you can sit and be about neck deep and enjoy the whirlpool jets. Our suite had two loungers and the area got a fair amount of sun (the sunny spots would move during the day and we would move our loungers depending on whether we wanted sun or shade). Our room was also great, we had such a large bed which was super comfy. My boyfriend wished he had an extra pillow-I imagine if we'd asked for it, they would've given it to us. The room was slightly small but completely manageable, there were two separate closets with lots of space for clothes. The bathroom was interesting and it probably wouldn't be recommended for couples/people who want privacy, as the door is slated and you can see through the gaps when someone is at the sink or in the shower. This is not anything that can't be worked around by people travelling together who aren't comfortable with it. We were fine with it, it was actually kind of funny The toilet is in a separate room with a proper lockable door. The cleaners came everyday and I've never been at a hotel which would give you fresh towels and fresh robes every day but this one does. Unfortunately for us and the cleaners, we are not morning people and wanted to stay in bed until closer to noon and there were multiple days where they came when we were sleeping and we would just say we were okay as we didn't want to get up (the bed and dark room was very cosy!) I think it might be helpful if there was a sign that you could put on the outside of your door to indicate the people are sleeping and not to disturb. There is a bus stop right outside that goes to Fira (2.50 each, the stop on hotel side goes to Fira, the stop on the side with Dorian's Pub is coming back from Fira). Visited Meltemi Village and Santorini for the first time in July. From the minute we arrived, up to our departure it was simply superb. We were visiting as part of my wife’s forthcoming special birthday celebrations and our 10th wedding anniversary. We were upgraded to a room with a whirlpool out on the terrace, it was a fabulous gesture from the hotel and something that we both used and enjoyed everyday of our holiday. The room was spacious, cleaned beautifully everyday, the aircon was very efficient and the shower powerful, couldn’t have asked for more. The hotel was lovely, lots of cats and kittens playing in the grounds, the vibrant colour of bougainvillea everywhere, and the most delicious breakfast. The pool area was comfortable with relaxing background music playing throughout the day. Just a 5 minute walk from the beautiful restaurants and beach of Perissa, and in easy reach of the picturesque villages of Fira and Oia and Santorini’s famous Caldera. It was a holiday that stole the heart of myself and my wife, Santorini and Meltemi were an absolute delight, and we will most definitely be returning. Can’t remember all the names of the wonderful staff, but a special mention the the 2 special ladies on reception, Roy and Dimitra, and not forgetting Andrei who was forever a charming presence at breakfast and the bar throughout the day. We had a fabulous holiday at the Meltemi Village Perissa. My husband and I stayed for 10 nights bed and breakfast. We were upgraded at no extra charge to a beautiful suite with a view of the mountains a whirlpool a big balony with sunbeds, table and chairs. The holiday was a special treat to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. They treated us to a bottle of wine in the suite with petals on the bed (which was very comfortable) and a lovely message. All the staff were so friendly and kind and couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast was excellent with a great variety of hot and cold food which was delicious.

Pleasant Stay at Meltimi Village – June 2025 We were pleasantly surprised when we first walked through the gates of Meltimi Village. The hotel staff were incredibly helpful and couldn’t do enough for us throughout our stay. Our room was quite small and basic, but it was spotlessly clean. We had a balcony, though it overlooked the road at the back of the hotel. Despite that, it was still a nice spot to relax. The poolside bar was excellent – the food was delicious and offered great value for money. The beach was just a short walk away, with plenty of restaurants nearby to choose from. A big plus was the bus stop just outside the hotel, which made it easy to get to Fira for only €2.50. We did experience some strong winds during our stay, but overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend Meltimi Village.
