The rooms are spacious and the front desk staff are great! However, they don’t tell you about the pool or if there are pool towels. The pool is FREEZING cold! We weren’t allowed to eat our own lunch in the common area, which was quite irritating. They don’t have bottle openers to lend out, but they will open anything for you at the bar. Breakfast is great. The neighbourhood is nice, with a fantastic park close by.

Well worth the price! We were pleasantly surprised by how nice the hotel was. & the breakfast was amazing! Would absolutely go back.

I stayed at Hotel Director in November of 2023 (Thanksgiving week) and I absolutely loved it. The staff are friendly, helpful and many speak English, the bar serves great drinks, the location is central to everything in Vitacura- so many restaurants that after a week I couldn’t try them all. Everything is walkable. The rooms are quite spacious and clean. The gym was clean and had free weights, a flat bench, elliptical and treadmill- all were always clean and functional. The outdoor space was nice, and although I didn’t use the pool it looked clean each time I passed it.
I highly recommend this place and I will be coming back to stay here on my next trip to Santiago. What you get for the price is incomparable.

Excellent hotel. Friendly staff and many are bilingual. The food was wonderful and drinks were delicious. The rooms are VERY spacious and clean. I spent the week of Thanksgiving there and I am so glad that I did. It is central to everything in Vitacura with dozens of restaurants nearby. After 7 days I couldn’t even visit half of them. They have a great gym with free weights, a treadmill and elliptical. I came here to study and write and never had any noise concerns. The pool looked clean although I didn’t partake, and the dining area (both inside and outside) was immaculate. When I return to Santiago I will definitely be staying here again. It’s a long way from California (15 hours) but definitely worth it. The price and the value of what you get also adds to experience. Lastly, if you’re coming from the states, be sure to get an adapter as their power outlets are different from ours.

I stayed in the hotel for 6 nights during a business trip. PROS: the room (I stayed in room 311 which is a suite) was very spacious. Large living room, bedroom and bathroom. The room is very clean. The cleaning staff did an excellent job. Breakfast was delicious and the food was consistently refilled. Even 10 min before the end of the breakfast time, there was no shortage of anything. The bed was really comfortable. Probably one of the most comfortable hotel beds I have slept in. CONS: the check in process took forever. I arrived early in the morning after a long flight from NY. The young lady in the reception took about 30 minutes to check me in. She kept offering me to have breakfast while she was checking me in. Even after I got my room key, she still asked to keep my passport to finish the check in process. The WiFi was really slow and kept getting disconnected. Fortunately I didn’t have to work from the room. If I needed to, it would have been impossible. The decor is really dated. Looks like nothing has been changed since the 1990s. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

The hotel itself is nice and located in a good neighborhood. However, the staff is not very good. When there was a problem with my room they told me they fixed it, but they had not. When I complained about it again they chose to harp on how I complained and didn't want to deal with the problem until I went down to the front desk myself. They need to train their staff on how to provide better customer service.

A really wonderful hotel, great value for money. Comfortable and clean. Very helpful staff. The terrace is a lovely bonus. I really liked the art work around the hotel. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Recommended.
