Most of pictures are fake in this content. Are from hotels opposite. Hotel playa is quite ok if you accept the low 3 stars. The positive is the pool 2.1m deep. Is clean but a falling apart shower cubicle and shower attachment, as well as an unscrewed toilet, do not speak well of the conservator. I belive they pay him too much. The biggest problem is the food. If you want all inclusive, skip it.... I sincerely advise you not to get. Unless you go in early May and catch the moment when the Playa is not fully operational, like I did. Then you will have mills in oposite hotel. If playa is fuli operating, the staff canteen at work is better than what they offer.....

I am here now thankfully I have just one more night to go, we came as a family last year it was brilliant, great atmosphere, clean, friendly ect all the great things so we have came again this year to see how really down hill the hotel has gone. Firstly the food is such a poor quality and was mostly the same stuff every day, we have all suffered with severe vomiting and dirarea so we have now opted to eat out. staff this year I have found rude and arrogant. And I think I have drawn a line now, I understand it’s a hot country you get cockroaches where every you go , last year we saw 0 across the whole complex, this year to date we have saw about 25 and this is just in the hotel reception, but where I say I draw a line is I mean we have saw them in the restraunt area. We won’t return to this hotel again however will return to Santa ponsa as normal because it’s beautiful. The room big spacious clean and cleaned daily too, however our review was another hotels pool which was nice to see however the noise coming from this side of the hotel from bottoms being broken to bins being collected to refurbishments it’s just all way to noisey

Nice hotel. The decor is very tired but kept very clean! All inclusive good, good selection on buffet. Not many cocktails but always something to drink. If you like a view, request to stay on 2nd floor or above, pool side as floor 1 overlooks a roof 😟. All staff friendly, accommodating and work really hard. Excellent location and Santa Ponca a good Spanish resort. Would be happy to return.

Had a good stay here. Staff were very nice and helpful any time we had dealings with them. My only issue was with the size of the shower. A small child would have problems showering in that, never mind a fully grown adult. Could do with some more chairs and tables on the outside area at the pool. Restaurants and pizzeria is across the road in Pionero Santa Ponsa Park. Food was ok. Pretty much as you expect from an all inclusive.

There are many positives about this hotel so I will start with those. The location is fabulous, 50m to the beach front, lots of shops and restaurants very close by. We didn’t ever struggle getting a sun bed, and the pool wasn’t too cold. I’ve seen previous reviews about the pool area getting no sun, this is rubbish. I have the tan to prove it, certain areas are shaded for sure but the right hand corner nearest the bar has sun pretty much all day. Good choice of drinks on the all inclusive, breakfast choices were plentiful and nicely cooked. Double bed was smaller than most hotels but comfortable. Our room was spotlessly clean as was the hotel in general. One of the really handy things is being able to use the 2 pools and snack bar at the sister hotel over the road, the snack bar is open till midnight and they had the usual burgers/chips/hot dogs plus nice fresh salads and wraps, pasta and more, a good selection. So, to the negatives. The staff were not particularly pleasant, either on check in or check out, not smiling or welcoming. The rooms are dated, (not really a problem for us as we only use it for sleep) the famous bathrooms/shower, well, yes they ARE tiny but we managed just fine and I’m a big girl! Evening meal choices were quite limited and didn’t change much. We would stay again as we felt we got value for money. PS. We saw 1 cockroach in 10 days. I’ve seen more in 4* hotels in Tenerife.

Arrived at hotel receptionist had no smile or welcome for us said she will have to check if the room was ready although was after the 2pm check in time , not a good start . We didn’t expect too much from the rooms as had read previous review that was dated etc , but seeing it was something else !! The room stunk of damp and mold as soon as you entered , the shower was basically a tiny square plastic thing on floor which flooded the whole tiny bathroom each time was used . When using the toilet you were practically sitting in the shower , bathroom was dirty and all moldy at back of toilet hence the awful smell ! There was 1 plug socket to use in whole room , Their was the tiniest tv I’ve ever seen literally touching the ceiling. On thé all inclusive option we had to carry plastic cups around with you all day between the three hotels in order for you to get a drink . The drinks were awful , extremely watered down ! Cocktails on offer was just fruit juice if you wanted a propper cocktail had to pay €5:90 even on AI . Was advised could use any of the sister hotels during our stay for all facilities. We chose to use ponsa park for our lunch and tea , on fifth day a lady working at the restaurant approached our table in front of all other diners whilst we were eating and began to shout you can’t eat here ! We were extremely embarrassed and shocked I advised her we had been here for last 4 days as we were told on the all inclusive you can use the sister hotels she carried on to shout no no who told you , I had to ask her to leave the table stop shouting and speak to me when I had finished eating !! I was extremely upset by this and her attitude was awful and rude many other guests dining came over to ask if we were ok and they couldn’t believe the way she was . We then chose to eat out for the remainder of our holiday at a cost to ourselves to save any further embarrassment. We did try to complain to the receptionist and ask to speak to the manager, she got on the phone to contact them and all I could understand was her telling them that it’s the English the English !! And nobody bothered to come to speak to us !! Awful customer service . The entertainment is on for 1 hour a night and is in ponsa park where all 3 hotels had to go . Getting served at the bar was a nightmare the queues where 30 people deep at a time and only had 3 bar staff on to serve the whole of the 3 hotels . The rest of the entertainment was awful a girl coming round to each table asking people to suck coffee beans through a straw into cups and see who could do the most in 30 seconds and the prize for the winner a cheap bottle of cava that was available on the AI 🙈 The pool area barely gets any sun due to lots of trees and the pool is extremely cold . Their are not enough sun loungers for all guests and if your gone longer than 2 hours the rude life guard with the long hair removes your towels and throws them in a old crate , baring in mind to eat lunch you have to leave the hotel a
