We’re recently retired and we celebrated our first trip post-retirement with a visit to New Mexico…the Land of Enchantment. The highlight of this visit was our three night stay at the Inn of the Turquoise Bear. This 200+ year old adobe is an amazing, authentic New Mexico pueblo adobe villa. Updated with so many modern amenities. So charming, amazing gardens, mountain views, nooks and crannies both inside and out where you can soak up the amazing history of Witter Bynner and the estate he created. Dan, Alex, and Caitlin were so gracious, warm, and helpful in helping us plan our trip and ensured we had everything we needed during our stay. You feel like family here...but in a good way! The breakfasts were truly amazing and the common breakfast table is a wonderful place to meet new people but we also dined outside on their beautiful terrace with views for miles! Such a tough decision on where to dine for breakfast!! Stay here! You won’t regret it. We’re looking forward to a return…more to stay at the Inn, though Santa Fe is definitely worth more visits! Three days weren’t enough!
