Bishop's Lodge Auberge Resorts Collection

This was our first time to Bishop’s Lodge. What an amazing property. The staff, everywhere we went, were top notch. Hailey, our adventure concierge, had everything handled when we got here, and had a printed itinerary with a welcome note when we arrived. She knew it was our 30th wedding anniversary and made our celebration so special. Including some surprise desserts waiting in the room for us. And another from Rebecca and Claire with a nice note on our last night. We took advantage of everything the hotel had to offer. Minus the “activities”, it wasn’t that kind of trip. We just wanted to relax. But it looked like plenty to do. I had a massage at the spa and Georgianna was so good. One of the best massages. Highly recommend! The spa, although amazing, was not a traditional spa experience. I only say this in case you book the spa during a “girls trip”. The spa is a converted guest suite with a common area to wait for your treatment, but not a sauna, hot tub, steam room situation where everyone can spend the day in and out of services. Still HIGHLY recommend, just setting expectations. We went to the pool twice and the staff there was excellent. Lunch is available to order. They also offer a frozen drink special of the day that was delicious. Such a great experience. We had dinner the first night at Sky Fire at the bar and watched the sunset. I enjoyed the tortilla soup and Chad had the bison sliders. The next day we had lunch on the patio and it was even better. The chef is excellent!!! Cauliflower tacos and shrimp toast. We also had a “grab and go” breakfast at two dogs cafe. Delicious and the coffee was out of this world. A few of the mornings we enjoyed room service so we could sit on our patio. The food arrived very hot and the order was perfect. Rare for room service. The bed and pillows were so comfortable! For our Friday night at the Santa Fe Opera, the chef made us a picnic basket so we could “tailgate”. Definitely a must-do! Besides our opera and dinner at Geronimo, we didn’t leave the property for 4 days, and could’ve have been happier! Thank you to EVERYONE here for making this such a special time for us. XOXO

Prior to arrival I’ve contacted the concierge for help and I got a response once I send the information requested back I never received a follow up. Check in was good and the room was nice. The problems started when we ordered room service and we realized the food went to the wrong room, thankfully we were seating outside. A few hours later when we went to take a shower the shower wouldn’t drain when we call for help we had the same problem we had with the food. We again ordered room service for breakfast and gave the heads up with the room problem at this point we figure out that the phone was having an issue appearing we were calling from a different room. Before we left for the day we contacted them about the phone issue. We were out until about 5 pm. When we can back we realized once again the phone issue wasn’t fix. They send someone at that point which couldn’t solve the issue he would have to come back at that point we didn’t wanted to keep being bothered less than 24 hrs had multiple service calls when they had plenty of time in the morning for them to fix the issue. We were in a cross country trip and this was the absolute worst service we experienced. We didn’t even get a simple apology for all the trouble. Do yourself a favor and pick many of the other great hotel options in Santa Fe. They get 3 starts because of how pet friendly it was and the nice room.

We had a truly 5-star experience. I went with my two boys. Room in bunkhouse was beautiful, spacious and clean. Service was excellent. There were tons of on site activities including archery, fishing, hiking, horseback riding, swimming, art classes and yoga (all except horseback riding was included in the resort fee). Food in the restaurant was amazing. We did not like the sandwiches in the cafe but there were definitely better quick options at the pool and bar menus. I liked the shuttle service into town. And the best of all was the veiw from my porch. We will definitely be back!

Bishop’s Lodge is a special place. It’s in a beautiful setting, the staff is pleasant and attentive, the food is delicious, and the room is comfortable, homey, spacious, and clean with a working fireplace inside and fire pit outside. Very relaxing and good night’s sleep. Felt private and surrounded by nature. The stars are so close! Cute bathroom and good steamer. Wonderful experience.

Beautiful location and excellent amenities and service. Close to the airport and to Santa Fe for dining and other experiences in the local area.

I have been to many Auberge resorts and the Bishops Lodge is by far my favorite. The views are amazing, the service was incredible and the options of what to do were awesome! You can stay on property the whole time and relax or you can borrow one of their complimentary cars and drive to town (7 minutes away) to explore! This resort gives you the best of both worlds. Highl recommend!

The setting is very pretty. Our room was very nice and clean. Friendly service, especially the boys on the valet team. They were great. A few issues. We like a clock and a do not disturb sign. The room did not have those. The food was just a little above average. Very few options if you are not a fan of spicy dishes. At night the steps and walkways back to the room definitely need more lighting. In some spots it was completely pitch black. Because of the lighting issue and the fact that the resort is very hilly, I would not recommend it for older adults.

Very nice place to stay with friendly staff and large, gorgeous rooms. The shuttle service worked great for going into Santa Fe and the location was convenient for hiking trips to nearby cliff dwellings, Ghost Ranch and hiking spots

I stayed at the Lodge for a wedding and the difference between my room and my friends was substantial. From the bathroom, no closet (just a curtain) and no view. After getting room service and calling to have dirty plates removed, no one came until the next day. The crew that helped us to our room was fantastic - wry responsive and helpful
