Albergo Palazzo

This was the worst hotel I have ever experienced in my entire life! It says 4 stars but it's not even worth two. The bed was the most uncomfortable ever. The mattress was completely worn out, the pillow was hard as a rock. We slept there for 4 nights and got back and neck pain after only one night. I have a history of neck problems so I asked the staff for a softer pillow. They said they would bring it to our room but they never did! ! ! So I used the towel to 'sleep' but left this 'holiday' with severe neck pain that will last for weeks! Then talk about the bathroom, the shower was so tiny it was impossible to move and the water pressure was unmissable. The wifi didn't work the ENTIRE stay. But we needed internet and the website said wifi was available. There were several notices in the hotel stating that the WiFi was not working. They were already looking old so this didn't seem to be a short-term problem. One day the elevator didn't work. The breakfast was worse than in a hospital. Every day the same, few and inferior products. Our floor smelled horribly like rotten eggs due to the thermal bath right next door. One evening there was a really heavy storm, rain and thunderstorms. Our room's windows were closed, but they didn't seal tightly, so both rooms (bathroom and bedroom) were full of water! Unfortunately, my luggage was in front of the window, so that all my things in my opened luggage were completely wet!!! We paid around 530€ for 4 nights, which is a price where I do NOT expect ANY of the mentioned circumstances. Honestly, this "hotel" is way worse than any cheap hostel or motel I've ever been to!

Albergo affascinante per l’architettura anni 30, altissime volte e lampadari in vetro di Murano. Le camere risultano comode ma certo prive di fascino. Il personale è sempre gentilissimo e professionale. Peccato che in luogo che è un paradiso di bellezza naturale non si riesca a prolungare l’attività a tutto l’anno,avendo terme belle e con delle efficaci acque sulfuree e con operatori estremamente preparati . L’unico appunto è sul menu in pensione completa che non può essere paragonato all’offerta in hotel di pari livello che operano nelle terme del veneto.

Siamo state in questo albergo ad agosto prenotando perché dal sito l’albergo promette un soggiorno a 4 stelle! Abbiamo prenotato una stanza con vista sul giardino, peccato che del giardino non c’era traccia e che ci siamo affacciate su una distesa di cemento. Al nostro arrivo la stanza presentava una serie di scomodità: il condizionatore presentava una temperatura bassissima e difficile da modificare; i letti e i cuscini erano scomodi e duri; la doccia era piccola, scomoda, usurata e la pressione dell’acqua scarsa, con una temperatura impossibile da regolare; l’ascensore era spesso non funzionante..siamo state costrette a portare i nostri bagagli pesanti per le scale; non era possibile stendere le asciugamani del mare. La ciliegina sulla torta è stata la scortesia della receptionist, la quale, al verificarsi di un disguido imprevisto, ci ha trattato con maleducazione,definendoci delle “ragazzine” e sminuendo i nostri problemi quando li abbiamo fatti presenti!

Abbiamo soggiornato con un gruppo di amici in questo hotel 12 giorni per le cure termali, che sono molto ben organizzate all'interno della struttura stessa; gentilezza e disponibilità di tutto il personale sia del Centro Termale che dell'Hotel. Un ringraziamento particolare a tutto lo staff e a Lorena e Maria Rosaria della reception.

Volevo fare una vacanza a Santa Cesarea e ho dato un’occhiata su internet, ho preso in considerazione sia l’hotel Mediterraneo che il Palazzo e sinceramente la mia preferenza è caduta sull’Albergo Palazzo. Il dubbio è sorto quando ho visto il voto modesto, visto che vivo a Lecce, ho pensato di fare un salto prima di prenotare e dopo aver dato un’occhiata ho prenotato. Sicuramente l’arredamento e’ un po’ datato mentre la pulizia era eccellente a vista d’occhio. Avevo prenotato per sette giorni con la mezza pensione, alla fine vista la soddisfazione anche del mangiare, ho raddoppiato la permanenza. VERY GOOD

Soggiornato una sola notte in occasione del Cammino del Salento. Hotel posto in pieno centro a Santa Cesarea Terme, di fronte le Terme. Camera molto semplice, pulita. Per una notte è stata più che sufficiente. Non avendo potuto usufruire della colazione in quanto uscite molto presto, il portiere ci ha comunque preparato un ottimo caffè e portato fette biscottate, marmellate e un'ottima fetta di ciambellone.
