The hotel is amazing. The staff is very friendly, especially Mr. Tomislav in the bar. We have never met such a friendly bartender. You have everything that you need in hotel or near.We will definitely come back

Everything about the hotel was fantastic from the food to to the spa facilities and the games room. The buffet had a great variety of dishes and the spa was really good. Stepping out of a sauna into the snow was a unique experience to say the least and one I will never forget!

It was amazing the rooms were really nice and clean and a very nice view of the hills. The food and staff is really nice and breakfast was also amazing the dinner was really nice! Must recommended for people who love to ski! A must recommended to everyone. Nice bathrooms

Absolutely amazing Hotel with the best views, the rooms are incredible and it feels like you have come to a completely different world, the best Hotel I have ever stayed in and the staff are brilliant as well. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone!

Beautiful experience in this hotel. Spacious and clean rooms with smart TVs to which we can easily connect our devices. Very good spa area, spectacular eighth floor with heated terrace plus billiards, table football, play station, ping pong, etc... Super breakfast and amazing dinner to say the least and dinner based on meat, fish, pizza, excellent desserts. Quality of food beyond the norm for Austria. Very close to the ski lifts and perfect ski room. I will definitely go back. Claudio

This was absolutely the best ski hotel we’ve ever been to. Stylish rooms, excellent food ( Oyster and champagne for breakfast. Enough said:), amazing play zone and rooftop bar. Clean, great location, nice spa, fantastic views of the mountains, friendly staff.

Myself and my family, (wife son 8 years and daughter 5 years) Stayed here for a weeks ski holiday. We have nothing but positive feedback to give. Kresimir was absolutely fantastic at booking ski school and was on hand to give advice during our stay. The ski school he booked was one of the best we have come across. Edward the manager in the restaurant was great, our son has severe allergies and he made sure he got allergy free food that he wanted every night. Nothing was too much trouble and this means a lot to us. We had a days ski guiding with David, would highly recommend this as it’s always a bit daunting exploring a new resort. The pool was brilliant. The kids areas on the top floor were great and our 2 loved the soft play, games consoles, pinball machines, etc etc etc etc. if you are looking for a hotel in Obertauren I really don’t think you could do better for families especially. We will be back !!

The hotel is all A-s! Places by Valamar has it all and I really mean it. The position in the city, the near ski slopes, the beautiful nature especially in the winter with the fluffy snow. I mean, what else can you wish beside just written? OK, there is of course a lot of stuff and a lot of needs. And guess what, the Places hotel staff can provide it all. We were there for few days skiing and having fun inside and outside the hotel and it was really a pleasure. The hotel looks somehow small when you look at it from the outside, but it is just an illusion, which vanishes as soon as you enter into it. It looks just perfect with a modern and exclusively furnished interior, but makes you feel cosy and comfortable at the same time. The food was more than great. Tastes and smells are extraordinary there and you can see staff enjoys preparing the good food for their guests. While mentining the hotels staff, they are really eager to help in any possible way. Friendly and polite, but fully professional at the same time. All in all, we had such a great and wonderfull time there...and I started to miss it as soon as I left the Obertauern...
